The HBM Product and Systems Engineering Media Health team sits at the center of Micron's most advanced memory products. We work across global teams, deep technology stacks, and real customer use cases to ensure HBM products deliver reliability at scale. The future of HBM is fast-moving and technically demanding, and we enjoy being at the innovative.
In this role, you will serve as a Reliability Architect and key individual contributor shaping reliability strategy for Micron's latest HBM products. You will translate customer expectations, field data, and historical findings into practical qualification plans that protect product quality while enabling rapid innovation. Your technical leadership will influence reliability decisions from process development through manufacturing and customer deployment.
Responsibilities:
  • Act as the reliability architect for next-generation HBM products, anticipating and mitigating future reliability risks
  • Define and own customer-informed reliability qualification plans in partnership with Global Quality
  • Drive intrinsic and extrinsic reliability improvements through optimized test flows and stress strategies
  • Lead resolution of qualification and RMA reliability issues through multi-functional root cause analysis
  • Provide data-driven reliability guidance to fab and assembly teams to improve yield, quality, and cost

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry
  • Deep expertise in semiconductor reliability physics and intrinsic/extrinsic failure mechanisms
  • Experience owning product qualification plans for advanced memory or logic devices
  • Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and technical communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience engaging directly with customers on reliability and application requirements
  • Hands-on expertise with EFA, PFA, and circuit-level root cause analysis
  • Proficiency with statistical analysis and scripting tools such as Python or JMP
  • Experience influencing manufacturing test flows and process change decisions
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to Micron sites
