As a Principal Engineer, you will provide technology leadership and consultation to both our customers and internal technical teams. You will be responsible for assessing technical feasibility, designing scalable and secure solutions, and driving strategic technical initiatives for our largest clients. You will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring seamless integration of enterprise applications, APIs, and third-party services.
Key Responsibilities:
Technology Leadership & Solution Design
Assess the technical feasibility of business requirements and propose optimal solutions.
Provide architectural guidance for complex customer integrations, ensuring scalability and security.
Oversee and drive large technical shifts within enterprise environments.
Design architectures that enable seamless integration between different enterprise applications, APIs, and third-party services.
Design adapters and new integrations to support customer-driven technology changes.
Technical Strategy & Innovation
Continuously evaluate and improve technical implementations to enhance efficiency and performance.
Stay current with technological advancements and industry trends, incorporating them into solution architectures.
Lead efforts to optimize and modernize existing solutions, identifying opportunities for re-architecture and refactoring.
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
Act as a technical advisor to executives, product managers, and development teams.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and drive alignment across stakeholders.
Engage with customers to provide expert guidance on technical decisions and integration strategies.
Provide feedback to Product & Engineering (P&E) to ensure customer needs are reflected in the roadmap.
Mentorship & Team Leadership
Provide technical mentorship to implementation and development teams.
Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and best practices in software development and deployment.
Participate in architecture review boards and technical design discussions.
Hands-On Technical Expertise
Gain deep hands-on experience with products, including the ability to demo, extend, and integrate them.
Write code to enhance platform capabilities and align with evolving technology trends in AI, automation, and software development.
Understand the third-party ecosystem surrounding our products and guide customers in making the right technology choices.
Skills & Experience
Extensive experience in enterprise architecture, solution design, and systems integration.
Strong background in API design, cloud architectures, and security best practices.
Excellent ability to translate business needs into scalable and secure technical solutions.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience advising executives and technical teams.
Hands-on development experience with modern programming languages and frameworks.
A strategic mindset with a passion for optimizing and evolving technology environments.

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science; 15+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in C# and SQL; expert-level web development experience.
• Strong understanding of design principles, full SDLC, and service-oriented architecture.
• Expert problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proven experience contributing to Agile environments.
• Availability for on-call/emergency support; ability to work flexible hours.
This position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
