The Opportunity

We are looking for a Principal Program Manager to enable and deliver large programs within the GenStudio for Performance Marketing engineering team. This position will be accountable for coordinating complex initiatives, requiring deep technical comprehension and attention to detail.

What you’ll do:

  • Collaborate with Product Management, Design teams, Architecture, Engineering and business enablement groups planning and delivering our product roadmap.
  • Maintain a deep, technical end-to-end understanding of the solution being built, its upstream and downstream dependencies and impacts, and proliferate the awareness and necessary changes needed to support the initiative.
  • Develop and track all aspects of a program, including:  detailed plans, risks/issues and remediations, status reporting, exec updates, roadmap updates, and serve as the “go to” person for details & state of things.
  • Represent the state, status, roadmap, risks/issues, and opportunities of in-flight and planned work
  • Proactively identify risks in all assigned areas; work with teams and management to mitigate these risks before they become issues.
  • Develop material(s) that can be shared/consumed at various levels of the organization – from executive-level presentations, to finite-level materials to be consumed by project/program teams.
  • Engage and influence people at all levels: from front-line team members to VPs, communicating continuously to partners throughout the organization.
  • Navigate across competing priorities, tight timelines to get your programs across the finish line.

What you need to succeed:

  • Be relentless in the pursuit of excellence
  • Ability to engage directly with internal partners and customers to drive-up their value/utilization
  • Ability to lead teams in a matrixed, multi-geo engineering team.
  • Outstanding attention to detail; understands the what, why, when, how and who to drive better solutions.
  • Self-starter w/ 10+ years of progressive project/program management experience on large scale, product development/product engineering work
  • Experience in an always-on, services-based infrastructure/architecture, ensuring seamless customer experiences; scaled to address future demands
  • Must know their audience; be comfortable presenting to everyone from C-level to the Individual Contributor assigned to the project/program; influence parties and lead data-driven conversations.
  • Experience with applications such as Workfront, Jira, or other workload (Backlog) management tools required
  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience managing large SaaS-based programs required.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $143,200 -- $269,900 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
