  • Lead executive search kickoff meetings, candidate calibration sessions, and search update meetings with senior leaders, People Business Partners, Sourcers, and external search firms.

  • Manage external search firm relationships, including firm selection, contract negotiation, performance management, and search execution.

  • Evaluate executive candidates through initial assessments, in-depth interviews, partner feedback, and leadership capability reviews.

  • Partner with executive sourcing and take a hands-on role to conduct market mapping, develop proactive talent pipelines, and identify innovative ways to engage highly sought-after talent.

  • Deliver a high-touch, candidate-centered experience that reflects eBay’s brand and values throughout every stage of the search process.

  • Collaborate with Compensation and People Business Partners to develop offer strategies and lead executive offer negotiations.

  • Provide data-driven insights on talent markets, candidate availability, competitive intelligence, and search progress.

  • Champion continuous improvement by thoughtfully integrating AI and automation into daily recruiting workflows to enhance process efficiency and the quality of hire.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience leading executive searches across multiple functions, with demonstrated expertise recruiting senior Engineering and technical leadership roles.

  • Proven ability to build trusted partnerships with executives, people leaders, and partners at all levels of an organization.

  • Strong track record of developing and driving executive recruiting strategies that result in the successful hiring of exceptional talent.

  • Deep knowledge of executive talent markets, sourcing strategies, assessment practices, and candidate engagement.

  • Ability to assess leadership capabilities, business impact, organizational fit, and functional expertise.

  • Experience managing external executive search firms and negotiating complex contracts and agreements.

  • Demonstrated success developing, presenting, and negotiating complex executive compensation packages.

  • Exceptional communication, consultation, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills.

  • Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple complex searches in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proactive and passionate about finding effective approaches, with a dedication to continuous improvement and operational excellence.

  • Ability to handle critical and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
