About Zip

Zip is the AI platform for enterprise procurement — built for humans and agents working together. By orchestrating procurement across teams, tools, and suppliers with the help of AI agents, companies can secure the resources they need to innovate faster than ever before.
The world’s most influential enterprises trust Zip, including T-Mobile, OpenAI, AMD, Mars, Dollar Tree, and more. Together they’ve saved over $8 billion and processed over $500 billion in spend. Zip’s team includes product leaders from Apple, Airbnb, and Meta, as well as former procurement leaders from United Health, Sanofi, MGM Resorts, Discover, and NASA.
Backed by Adams Street, Alkeon, BOND, CRV, DST, Tiger Global, and Y Combinator, Zip has raised $371 million, most recently at a $2.2 billion valuation and has been recognized by Forbes Fintech 50, Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies, Inc. Best in Business, and LinkedIn Top Startups.

Your Role

We’re hiring a Senior/Principal Product Manager (experience dependent) to lead a core part of Zip’s AI Agent product, one of the company’s fastest-moving and most strategic bets. Zip recently launched Superagents: LLM-powered teammates that take on the repetitive, low-value work drowning procurement, AP, risk, and legal teams so those teams can focus on strategic work.

As PM, you’ll own the vision and strategy for a major area of this product and drive it end to end with a high degree of autonomy. This is a foundational, platform role with high impact: you’ll build the agent and chat capabilities that other Zip teams and customers build on top of, so your success is measured as much by what you enable others to ship as by what your own team delivers. And because businesses trust these agents to act on their behalf, you’ll own the quality bar that makes that trust possible: the evals, guardrails, and feedback loops that keep agent output accurate, auditable, and reliable.

You Will
  • Set the vision and multi-quarter strategy for a major area of Zip’s AI product, translating a fast-changing technology landscape into a clear, opinionated view on what to build and why

  • Partner with engineering, design, and AI research to ship sophisticated agent capabilities and turn them into concrete, high-value use cases that are accurate, reliable, and genuinely useful

  • Work directly with customers and customer-facing teams to understand user needs and gather feedback on our agents and chat experiences

  • Own the quality bar for AI experiences end to end, designing the evals, rollout gates, guardrails, and feedback loops that let customers trust agents to act on their behalf, and holding the line on accuracy and reliability even as capabilities expand

  • Roll up your sleeves wherever the team needs it, whether that’s sitting in on user research, debugging a quality issue, or reviewing agent outputs

Qualifications
  • 8+ years of Product Management experience, preferably in SaaS or consumer tech, with a track record of owning ambiguous, high-impact areas end to end

  • Deep experience partnering with engineering and design to ship sophisticated products with a great user experience

  • Experience building platform or foundational products that other teams build on top of, with a collaborative, service-oriented approach to aligning roadmaps and making their success your own

  • A track record of setting product strategy and influencing cross-functional partners and leadership without direct authority

  • Strong written and verbal communication with internal and external stakeholders, including executives

  • Extreme attention to detail, with the ability to quickly grasp complex business processes and industry knowledge

  • Ability to prioritize ruthlessly, even if it may disappoint customers or stakeholders

The salary range for this role is $200,000 - $280,000. The salary for this position is determined based on a variety of job-related factors that may include location, relevant experience, education, or particular skills and expertise.
