As a Principal Product Manager on the AI team in Jira, you will focus on delivering AI capabilities which leverage this data to help teams be more productive. You will drive the development and integration of cutting-edge AI technologies into Jira, empowering our teams to work smarter, more efficiently, and more collaboratively. Your customers are end users as well as internal feature teams who will leverage your work to implement AI at scale. You will be instrumental in shaping the product roadmap for AI experiences in Jira, influencing organizational direction, and ensuring AI can be valuable to millions of Jira users worldwide.

To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $193,500 - $252,625
Zone B: $174,600 - $227,950
Zone C: $161,100 - $210,325
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.

On your first day, we'll expect you have:
- 10+ years of product management experience
- Technical fluency with a focus on AI, machine learning, and related technologies
- True customer obsession - you go out of your way to talk to customers and solve their problems
- Experience inspiring and mobilizing cross-functional teams towards a common vision
- Experience developing a multi-year product strategy and roadmap, gaining buy-in to executive leadership, and rallying a cross-functional team
- A track record of building relationships and influencing all levels of the organization.
- Experience building a compelling business case for new opportunities
