Role

We are looking for a Principal Product Specialist for the Zero Trust Browser team to join our team. This is an On-site, Hybrid, or Remote (within the USA, available Eastern time) role, reporting to the Director, Product Management in the Product Management department. You will provide technical leadership for Zscaler’s Zero Trust Browser solutions, owning product success throughout the sales lifecycle. You will serve as a thought leader for browser-layer security architecture and strategy while partnering with sales and engineering to drive technical wins and product enhancements for our Zero Trust Browser offerings.

What you’ll do (Role Expectations)

  • Provide technical leadership for Zscaler’s Zero Trust Browser solutions, owning product success and architectural strategy throughout the sales lifecycle

  • Lead in-person and virtual meetings with customer executives and practitioners to provide executive-level overviews of Zscaler’s browser security strategy and deep-dive technical workshops

  • Articulate the value of browser-layer security controls, including threat monitoring, attack prevention, in-browser DLP, secure private application access, and Privileged Remote Access (PRA)

  • Develop technical collateral, including best practice guides, proof-of-value (POV) test plans, demo assets, and reference architectures to support internal teams and customer presentations

  • Conduct and support POVs, technical evaluations, and initial deployments, helping customers validate architecture, policy design, and operational fit for Zero Trust Browser use cases

Who You Are (Success Profile)

  • You thrive in ambiguity. You're comfortable building the path as you walk it. You thrive in a dynamic environment, seeing ambiguity not as a hindrance, but as the raw material to build something meaningful.

  • You act like an owner. Your passion for the mission fuels your bias for action. You operate with integrity because you genuinely care about the outcome. True ownership involves leveraging dynamic range: the ability to navigate seamlessly between high-level strategy and hands-on execution.

  • You are a problem-solver. You love running towards the challenges because you are laser-focused on finding the solution, knowing that solving the hard problems delivers the biggest impact.

  • You are a high-trust collaborator. You are ambitious for the team, not just yourself. You embrace our challenge culture by giving and receiving ongoing feedback—knowing that candor delivered with clarity and respect is the truest form of teamwork and the fastest way to earn trust.

  • You are a learner. You have a true growth mindset and are obsessed with your own development, actively seeking feedback to become a better partner and a stronger teammate. You love what you do and you do it with purpose.

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions to optimize outcomes within your functional domain

  • 7+ years of professional hands-on experience in presales, Customer success, product specialization, or professional services within the infrastructure technology or cybersecurity industry

  • Deep technical domain expertise in browser security, Zero Trust architecture, private application access, privileged access use cases, and modern web security controls

  • Strong understanding of Internet and security protocols, including HTTP, SSL/TLS, DNS, and secure access patterns for web and private applications

  • Proven track record of developing technical collateral and supporting go-to-market initiatives that drive successful sales outcomes

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Experience implementing or securing AI-powered threat detection mechanisms or Large Language Model (LLM) data loss prevention controls within enterprise browser environments

  • Deep Zscaler hands-on experience and product knowledge across Zero Trust Browser, ZIA, ZPA, Zscaler Client Connector, and Privileged Remote Access capabilities

  • Experience with browser extensions, browser-layer telemetry, in-browser DLP, and controls that secure user activity across SaaS, web, and private applications
