Job Description

The ServiceNow Security Organization (SSO)

The ServiceNow Security Organization (SSO) delivers world-class, innovative security solutions to reduce risk and protect the company and our customers. We enable our customers to migrate their most sensitive data and workloads to the cloud, accelerating our business so that we are the most trusted SaaS provider. We create an environment where our employees are proud to work and can make a positive impact

About the Team
The ServiceNow Security Identity and Access Management organization builds and operates the enterprise Identity and Access Management platform that secures ServiceNow employees, systems, and partners worldwide. We are a team focused on engineering excellence — modernizing how identity governance is built, tested, and delivered.

We manage enterprise-scale Identity Platforms, ServiceNow integrations and Privileged Access Management across global and regulated environments, and are expanding our capabilities into Non-Human Identity governance and AI-assisted access intelligence.

We are looking for a Principal Product Manager to establish one coherent product strategy across a fragmented identity and access portfolio, translate customer zero experience into a unified roadmap that consolidates governance narratives, clarify platform positioning and integration paths, and elevate PM and cross-functional teams across the organization.

What you'll do

  • Establish the unified product strategy and roadmap that consolidates fragmented positioning across the portfolio
  • Translate Customer Zero experience into validated customer priorities and integrated solution architecture
  • Define and communicate the unified narrative that clarifies each product's role and integration paths
  • Align engineering, design, and architecture teams across the portfolio to shared customer-success priorities
  • Create and run cross-product working groups to remove blockers and accelerate customer-critical integrations
  • Build customer proof points and competitive positioning stories that strengthen bundled-solution selling
  • Define the security strategy and roadmap ensuring it addresses regulated-industry requirements and customer needs
  • Establish intake and governance over demand and development to ensure portfolio alignment
  • Drive measurable outcomes on NRR, deployment timelines (6+ months to 3–4 months), and competitive wins
  • Scale the PM organization through mentorship and hands-on customer and market engagement
  • To be successful in this role you have
  • Experience leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving—including using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry
  • 15+ years of software product management experience
  • 15+ years of business process management, process engineering, and executing process improvements
  • 5+ years of Security or Risk experience with strong technical depth
  • Or similar experience with education

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a mind for seeking out problems to solve, defining solutions, and driving the work to deliver those solutions.
  • Is proficient in planning, communication and presentation skills, and the capability to listen and influence.
  • Has the ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, proven track record of building strong relationships and establishing credibility at all levels of the organization.
  • Is a smart, enthusiastic, creative leader who can look beyond today's problems to find tomorrow's solutions.
  • Has significant defining and capturing product requirements and transforming them into a product roadmap
  • Has experience managing or developing AI solutions
  • Is deeply committed to delivering the best solution for their customers, and has a track record in building customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions
  • Is skilled at driving solution development with an eye on the big-picture strategy
  • Is passionate about defining and reporting on critical metrics that are meaningful to various audiences
