Where Your Work Moves the Needle.

At Pebl, every team member drives our success. Joining us means more than filling a role—you’re accountable for results and impact. Our values guide how we operate, execute, and collaborate across borders. By putting them into action, you’ll help us scale faster, compete harder, and lead the future of global work.

What Makes You a Great Fit

We're seeking an influential Principal Strategic Partnerships Director to join Pebl's Global Partnerships team.

You'll shape and expand our partner ecosystem across Venture Capital, Private Equity firms, and international partners, driving high-impact partnerships that fuel scalable growth.

In this role, you will be focused on identifying and developing strategic consulting relationships with key partners for Pebl. You'll lead multiple work streams across partnership identification and activation, governance, go-to-market strategy, and partner enablement — translating strategic relationships into measurable GTM productivity.

This is a high-visibility role on a team focused on growth, scalability, and impact, reporting directly to the VP, Worldwide Partnerships.

How You'll Make an Impact

Partnership Development and Monetization

  • Drive new revenue streams by identifying, securing, and scaling strategic partnerships with Venture Capital and Private Equity firms, ecosystem platforms, and enterprise customers that align with Pebl's growth objectives.

  • Accelerate topline impact by developing monetization models — including referral pipelines, channel sales agreements, co-sell programs, and embedded benefit offerings — that directly contribute to recurring ARR.

  • Prioritize partnerships by revenue potential, leveraging data on market overlap, customer lifetime value, and expansion opportunity to ensure the highest ROI on partner engagement.

  • Manage the full partnership lifecycle (sourcing, negotiation, activation, and renewal) with a focus on measurable outcomes — revenue contribution, lead volume, and margin impact — not just relationship breadth.

  • Create joint go-to-market strategies that translate partnerships into predictable, scalable revenue opportunities.

Strategic Partnerships & Revenue Acceleration

  • Collaborate with the VP of Partnerships, Sales, Marketing, and Product to translate partnership potential into direct revenue outcomes — e.g., co-marketing conversions, bundled product offerings, and partner-led deals.

  • Build structured partner success frameworks (scorecards, SLAs, and QBRs) to hold partners accountable for shared revenue KPIs, pipeline velocity, and customer acquisition goals.

  • Identify and implement cross-sell and up-sell initiatives across Pebl's customer base that leverage partner products and services to increase per-customer revenue.

  • Continuously evaluate and optimize partnership portfolio performance, using revenue contribution, CAC efficiency, and margin lift as key success indicators.

  • Surface actionable market intelligence and partner insights to guide Pebl's product and commercial roadmap toward the future.

Contract Negotiations

  • Lead contract discussions with potential and existing partners, ensuring our company's best interests are safeguarded.

Let's Connect If You Have

  • 10+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or ecosystem management within HR Tech, SaaS, PEO, or EOR environments.

  • Proven success developing VC/PE relationships and converting those networks into scalable partnership pipelines.

  • Demonstrated expertise building joint GTM programs, reseller or integration partnerships, and managing multi-stakeholder negotiations.

  • Strong operational skills — comfortable leading through ambiguity and driving clarity across global teams.

  • Executive-level communication and relationship-building abilities; confident working with C-suite leaders internally and externally.

  • A collaborative and resilient approach — balancing strategic vision with pragmatic execution.

Our Commitment to You

At Pebl, we’re committed to supporting our team with comprehensive rewards and benefits designed to meet diverse needs across roles and locations. Our core offerings include:

  • Flexible Time Off – Take the time you need to recharge.

  • Parental Leave – Support for growing families.

  • Health and Dental Insurance – Where applicable, to cover you and your loved ones.

  • Retirement Savings + Employee Incentive Plan – Plan for the future while sharing our success.

What you need to know about the San Francisco Tech Scene

San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area attracts more startup funding than any other region in the world. Home to Stanford University and UC Berkeley, leading VC firms and several of the world’s most valuable companies, the Bay Area is the place to go for anyone looking to make it big in the tech industry. That said, San Francisco has a lot to offer beyond technology thanks to a thriving art and music scene, excellent food and a short drive to several of the country’s most beautiful recreational areas.

Key Facts About San Francisco Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 365,500; 13.9% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, Greylock Partners, Khosla Ventures, Kleiner Perkins
  • Research Centers and Universities: Stanford University; University of California, Berkeley; University of San Francisco; Santa Clara University; Ames Research Center; Center for AI Safety; California Institute for Regenerative Medicine
