Process Improvement Specialist

About the Role

We’re looking for a Process Improvement Specialist to lead initiatives that enhance efficiency, consistency, and scalability across the organization. You’ll play a critical role in designing smarter workflows, streamlining operations, and driving sustainable change.

In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams — from operations leadership to change management — to build and implement processes that power LawnStarter’s continued growth. You’ll report directly to the Associate Director of Operations.


Requirements

What You’ll Do

    • Analyze current workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
    • Design, document, and implement optimized processes aligned with business goals.
    • Use data and performance metrics to measure process effectiveness and impact.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure new processes are practical and scalable.
    • Develop detailed SOPs, process maps, and documentation for clarity and consistency.
    • Lead change management initiatives and training to support successful adoption.
    • Continuously monitor and refine processes to drive ongoing improvement.
    • Champion a culture of continuous improvement across all teams.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in process improvement, operations, or a related role.
  • Proven ability to design and implement efficient business processes.
  • Strong analytical mindset — you love using data to guide decisions.
  • Proficiency in process mapping tools (e.g., Lucidchart, Visio).
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
  • Experience in change management or training is a plus.
  • [Optional] Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification preferred.
