Job Description:

At Cloudera, we empower people to transform complex data into clear and actionable insights. With as much data under management as the hyperscalers, we're the preferred data partner for the top companies in almost every industry.  Powered by the relentless innovation of the open source community, Cloudera advances digital transformation for the world’s largest enterprises.

The Procurement Program Manager (PPM) is a strategic leader responsible for designing and executing initiatives that transform the procurement organization. This role bridges the gap between high-level strategy and operational excellence, managing the end-to-end lifecycle of procurement programs—from digital transformation and technology integration to process optimization. As a primary connector across departments, the PPM will collaborate with IT, Finance, Legal, and HR to ensure procurement activities deliver maximum enterprise value while mitigating third-party risk.

As a Procurement Program Manager, you will:

Process Improvement & Streamlining Operations

  • Drive continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and improve data accuracy across all procurement activities.

  • Own future-state procurement processes, translating complex business needs into outcome-based technical solutions.

  • Develop and deliver procurement policies and procedures that streamlines the NSR (New Supplier Request) process.

  • Identify and implement technology solutions to enhance efficiency and streamline execution.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with IT, Finance, Legal, HR, Marketing, R&D, and Facilities to align procurement programs with operational requirements and budget targets.

  • Manage organizational change by preparing teams for new ways of working through communication and training.

  • Serve as a primary resource for problem-solving and strategic alignment, building trust and credibility with leadership and executives.

Strategic Program Leadership

  • Develop and communicate a strategic direction for procurement programs that aligns with broader corporate objectives.

  • Serve as the business lead for procurement technology implementations, including platforms such as Coupa, ServiceNow, and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM).

  • Establish and monitor key procurement metrics to convey program value and ensure alignment with corporate goals.

We're excited if you have:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; a Master’s in Project/Program Management is preferred.

  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or program management in a global or highly regulated environment.

  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Source-to-Pay (S2P) platforms (e.g., Coupa), ERP systems, and data analytics tools such as Tableau and Microsoft Excel.

  • Skills: Strong leadership with the ability to deliver through high-performance, cross-functional teams; exceptional writing, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
