The Verint Global Procurement Team is looking to build upon the past few years of incredible growth and success by further developing our Global Procurement team. We already provide excellent and growing commercial support to underpin Verint’s strategic objectives, and by joining us now at this exciting time, you will be integral to develop this further.

Verint has invested in key technology to support our Global Procurement team, from integrated P2P and contract register software, to the nirvana of a live spend cube for deep dive spend analysis! Reporting to the Director of Procurement within the Global Procurement team, you will be given the flexibility and autonomy to drive agreed strategies, deliver initiatives, and bring the role to life.

We are looking for a strong Procurement Specialist, who will be responsible for the sourcing, negotiation, and contract management for SW, SAAS, Cloud & Hosting IT sub-categories. This includes working with different departments to determine and execute purchase approach, purchase requirements, candidate suppliers, and supplier selection.

The Procurement Specialist will also be required to ensure compliance of vendor engagements with the company’s Procurement policies and procedures. You will lead negotiations, identify, and deliver real value for the business while collaborating with cross functional teams in accordance with the company’s procurement policies and procedures.

With Verint continuing to evolve and with the recent Thoma Bravo acquisition and merger with Calabrio—you will play a key role in supporting integration activity across our global business—rapidly assessing third-party spend, aligning suppliers to Verint standards, and partnering with stakeholders to ensure continuity, compliance, and value realization.

We have the relationships, the processes, the procedures, and systems in place, we now need a highly proactive individual to make the role their own and to champion procurement within the business.

  • Delivers savings and value-add through proactive negotiation of new agreements, renewals, consolidations and terminations, supported by benchmarking, market comparison, commercial analysis and cost modelling.

  • Supports the development and execution of category plan for software and SaaS spend, helping identify pipeline opportunities, risks, renewals, commercial levers and stakeholder decisions required.

  • Reviews and negotiates key software and SaaS commercial terms including pricing structures, license metrics, renewal rights, termination rights, usage commitments, service schedules, order forms and support terms.

  • Establishes strong global cooperation and alignment with IT, Finance, Legal, Security, Services and Operations to ensure procurement activity is commercially robust and operationally practical.

  • Ensure all procurement activities are following the Global Procurement policy and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ procurement experience, with at least 3 years focused on software, SaaS, cloud or technology sourcing, including strong working knowledge of software licensing, SaaS commercial models and related contract terms.

  • Demonstrated experience independently leading supplier negotiations and renewals, including preparing negotiation positions, analyzing supplier proposals, challenging pricing, and securing measurable commercial outcomes.

  • Experience reviewing and interpreting software and SaaS agreements, order forms, service schedules, renewal terms, termination rights, usage commitments and license structures in partnership with Legal and business stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent software and SaaS projects from intake through contract execution, including stakeholder engagement, supplier management, savings tracking and governance compliance.

  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills and the flexibility to manage multiple priorities, short timeframes, unplanned requests and competing stakeholder requirements.

  • Ability to work independently, demonstrate confidence, sound judgement and integrity, and take ownership of deliverables with limited day-to-day management oversight.

  • Strong ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional, complex environment, including experience engaging with senior stakeholders and influencing business decisions.

  • Limited domestic travel to attend business meetings.

  • Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, SS Verification, as well as credit and drug screening, where applicable and in accordance with federal and local regulations.

Preferred Requirements:
