What You’ll Do:
- Translate scripted scenes into cinematic visual sequences using our AI production tools.
- Select, refine, and iterate on generated footage with a strong eye for tone, performance, and composition.
- Shape narrative pacing. Knowing when to linger, when to cut, and when to simplify.
- Build cohesive short films from script to final cut.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, staying organized across different stages of AI generation (these tools have wait times; multitasking is part of the job).
- Push back thoughtfully on scripts, shot choices, or visual directions when something isn't landing.
- Maintain emotional continuity and character integrity throughout the edit.
- Experiment continuously with tools, formats, and techniques along with bringing what you learn back to the team.
- Balance creative ambition with practical execution.
What You’ll Bring:
- 3+ years of editing and/or production experience.
- Background in narrative fiction, commercials, music videos, corporate content, or vertical/micro drama content.
- Agency, independent production company, or freelance experience all welcome.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere (required) and Adobe Suite / Photoshop.
- A cinematic eye. You understand framing, mood, and visual storytelling beyond the basics.
- Strong editing instincts and a sharp sense of timing.
- Confidence making creative decisions independently.
- Detail oriented without losing sight of the bigger story.
- Comfortable working from script and shaping narrative arcs.
- Genuine curiosity about AI tools. Hands on AI experience is a plus.
