Julius is building AI Data Analyst and growing quickly. You'll be a key pillar of our team with the autonomy to own and shape design direction for the entire product experience. Design is a critical part of how we turn AI capabilities into an intuitive product for millions of knowledge workers with varying levels of technical know-how. Join us as a Product Designer to help tackle this.
Every knowledge worker—from financial analysts to marketers to product managers—relies on data to make critical decisions. Yet getting meaningful insights takes hours (at best) or days (on average). Julius gives every knowledge worker their own 24/7 AI data analyst, delivering the insights they need in minutes, not days. We've already made incredible progress since launching. Julius executes over 4 million lines of analysis code daily, and our users have generated over 10 million data visualizations.

What you'll do:

  • Design and build user interfaces that are used by millions of knowledge workers to get insights from data within seconds with the help of AI

  • Translate advancing AI capabilities into experiences that feel like magic to everyday users

  • Craft every detail of new product features, from idea to UX to pixel-perfect execution

  • Help define our product's visual identity and interaction patterns

  • Own the design process from concept through to execution, iterating based on feedback and user research

What we're looking for:

  • 3+ years of product design experience, designing end-user facing products

  • Portfolio showcasing your UI/UX design skills

  • Comfortable using Figma

  • Familiarity with AI-native interfaces of successful AI products like ChatGPT, Midjourney, Perplexity etc and understanding of what makes them successful

  • Bonus points:

    • Experience with data analysis/data science, or familiarity with the pain points

  • Nice to have:

    • Some programming experience with React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS

San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area attracts more startup funding than any other region in the world. Home to Stanford University and UC Berkeley, leading VC firms and several of the world’s most valuable companies, the Bay Area is the place to go for anyone looking to make it big in the tech industry. • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
