Why Ivo?
Contract negotiation is the most time-consuming, costly, and difficult component of the contract lifecycle—and it hasn’t gotten much easier since the days of fax machines.

Large language models have unlocked the ability to solve many contract negotiation problems at scale. Our product is best-in-market (we have an 85%+ h2h trial win rate) and used by some of the leading companies in the world.

Overview:
We are looking for an exceptional designer to join our team in San Francisco. This is a unique opportunity to join us at an early stage and play a crucial role in shaping Ivo’s product, user experience, and overall design strategy. You’ll work closely with the leadership, marketing and engineering to create intuitive, user-centric designs that meet the needs of our customers. Ideally, you should be comfortable with both product design and other design work, from branding to marketing collateral.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the entire design and creative process
  • Work directly with our founding team to define user interactions.
  • Collaborate with our founders to define product strategy and roadmap priorities through a design lens.
  • Own all aspects of design, including web, marketing, brand, and product
  • Optimize for speed, usability, and accessibility.
  • Work in fast, iterative cycles — we maintain no backlog.
  • Translate our core principles into product:
  • Cycle time is key. You ship quickly and iterate.
  • Quality matters. Your work stands on its own.
  • No backlogs. Build what’s needed, when it’s needed.
  • FITFO. You figure things out independently.
  • Ownership mindset. You think and act like an owner.

Who you are:

  • You have 3+ years of experience in product design.
  • You possess demonstrated experience as a 0-1 product designer, focused on designing exceptional products that ship quickly.
  • You have a strong portfolio demonstrating thoughtful, user-centered design and measurable outcomes
  • You have proficiency in Figma and modern design and prototyping tools
  • You would describe yourself as being relentlessly resourceful
  • You have a customer-first mindset with a passion for solving real-world problems
  • You move fast and have experience in high-velocity teams.
  • You’re excited by AI and shaping the future of work

Here’s what we look for in people:

  • Ship every day: You launch frequently. You know how to descope to get results fast.
  • Fast cycle times: You think in hours, not days; days, not weeks; and weeks, not months. You push the pace and use speed as a weapon.
  • Generative: You have more ideas than time. You don’t need someone to tell you what to do.
  • Resilient: When bad news hits, you say “good”. You don’t easily give up.
  • Customer obsessed: You talk to customers. You do what it takes to make them succeed.
  • Like to run hard: You realize life is short, and that if you work twice as hard you can often get 10x the results.

Compensation and benefits

  • Competitive Compensation: The USD base salary range for this role is $120,000 - $200,000 (excluding equity). Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including experience and expertise.
  • Relocation and Visa Support: We also offer relocation assistance for successful applicants moving to SF, as well as support for visa and green card applications where applicable.
  • Medical benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental and vision plans to suit the needs of you and your family.
  • Unlimited PTO: So you can take the time you need to recharge, stay healthy, and bring your best self to work.
  • Office extras: Generous office space in Downtown San Francisco, with snacks, coffee, a dedicated exercise / work-out space and regular team building events and activities.
