Group/Division

The KLA Services team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support. The KLA Services organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

As a product engineer, you will be actively engaged in the New Product Introduction process for Surfscan and Wafersight products. In this role, you will be working side-by-side with the engineering team to ensure the designs are reliable and meet serviceability requirements:

  • Unique opportunity to interact with engineering teams across multiple products throughout the entire company.

  • Impact future serviceability improvements include cost of service reductions, reliability improvements, operational efficiency.

  • Drive serviceability requirements for various system and subsystems

  • Travel can be up to 30% domestic and international

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS required (MS preferred) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or related technical field.

  • At least 2 years of experience in a multi-discipline system environment, preferably with knowledge of mechatronics, mechanical or electrical experience

  • Experience with design, documentation processes

  • Solid engineering and data analysis fundamentals.

  • Strong communication skills both oral and written.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years related work experience with a Bachelor's degree; or advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience

Base Pay Range: $92,400.00 - $157,100.00 Annually
