The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking a Product Integration Lead Engineer to lead a team supporting engineering, product delivery, and data/deliverables for the P-8 program. This position reports to the P-8 Configuration Management Team as part of the Systems Engineering and Integration Team (SEIT). This position will be 100% onsite in Tukwila, Washington.
The P-8 is a high-visibility, advanced commercial derivative military aircraft program. As a Product Integration Lead Engineer , you will oversee and guide a team responsible for configuration planning, identification, change control, tracking, delivery support, and facilitating program baseline management.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Lead and provide guidance for the development, analysis, management, and compliance verification of process and product baselines for highly integrated complex products.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and collaborate across multiple disciplines to drive project success in an integrated product team environment.
  • Work collaboratively with engineering teams, program leadership, functional teams, customers, and suppliers to support configuration and data management needs.
  • Manage change/configuration management processes and engineering data management.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office tools proficiently to support data processing and reporting.
  • Apply knowledge of Government Standards including DFARs Clause 252.211-7003, MIL-STD-129, and MIL-STD-130.
  • Use tools such as Define and Control Airplane Configuration/Product Data Manager (DCAC/PDM), Integrated Product Data Management (IPDM), Manufacturing Execution System Common Image (MESci), Boeing UID System (BUS), and Customer and Supplier Data Transmittal (CSDT).
  • Tackle new technical challenges and expand expertise into unfamiliar areas.
  • Interface frequently and present to the executive leadership team.

This position will be 100% onsite in Tukwila, WA.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
  • Level 4: 6 or more years of related work experience
  • Level 5: 9 or more years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Knowledge and experience providing guidance for the development, analysis, management, and compliance verification of process and product baselines for highly integrated complex products.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate across multiple disciplines to drive project success in an integrated product team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams, program leadership, functional teams, customers, and suppliers to support configuration and data management needs.
  • Hands-on experience with change/configuration management processes and engineering data management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Familiarity with Government Standards including DFARs Clause 252.211-7003, MIL-STD-129, and MIL-STD-130.
  • Experience with tools such as Define and Control Airplane Configuration/Product Data Manager (DCAC/PDM), Integrated Product Data Management (IPDM), Manufacturing Execution System Common Image (MESci), Boeing UID System (BUS), and Customer and Supplier Data Transmittal (CSDT).

  • Experience with frequent interface and presentations to the executive leadership team.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range:
Level 4: $119,850 - $162,150
Level 5: $145,350-$196,650
