Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the expansion, adoption, and execution of next‑generation X-ray Assisted Device Alteration (XADA) hardware, methodologies, and workflows within the semiconductor test and failure analysis ecosystem. This role blends strong product management with deep technical knowledge of semiconductor testing, fault isolation, and emerging diagnostic techniques. You will have the opportunity to develop a novel approach and grow the market for an emerging business unit.

The successful candidate will drive cross‑functional programs spanning R&D, product engineering, manufacturing, test, and customer engagements, ensuring delivery of world‑leading hardware and analytical capabilities to the market.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Program Leadership

  • Advance XADA-related initiatives, working with customers to propagate adoption.
  • Define project scope, milestones, timelines, risks, and success metrics across multiple concurrent programs.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional teams including hardware, software, test engineering, failure analysis, applications, and external partners.

Technical Enablement & Strategy

  • Serve as a technical liaison between engineering teams and customers for fault isolation and advanced debug workflows.
  • Guide implementation and adoption of semiconductor fault isolation techniques, including but not limited to LADA (Laser Assisted Defect Analysis) and X‑ray–based methodologies.
  • Contribute to technical roadmaps for next‑generation XADA hardware, automation, and data analytics.

Test & Ecosystem Integration

  • Support alignment of XADA solutions with automated test equipment (ATE) platforms.
  • Collaborate on solutions that integrate with or complement Teradyne and Advantest test environments.
  • Ensure compatibility with industry-standard test flows, data formats, and manufacturing requirements.

Market & Customer Impact

  • Engage with key customers to understand test challenges, fault isolation gaps, and market needs.
  • Develop marketing collateral and market insights to drive strategic planning.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven project management or technical leadership experience leading complex, cross‑functional engineering programs.
  • Previous experience in semiconductor test, failure analysis, yield engineering, or device debug.
  • Hands‑on or working knowledge of fault isolation techniques, including LADA and related methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive adoption of new technologies in a production or customer‑facing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) platforms, particularly Teradyne and/or Advantest.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor industry standards, test processes, device qualification flows, and manufacturing requirements.
  • Experience working with advanced diagnostics, X‑ray analysis, or non‑destructive inspection technologies.
  • PMP, Agile, or other project management certifications.
  • Experience working directly with customers or in a field‑applications or technical marketing capacity.

What Success Looks Like

  • On‑time, on‑budget delivery of XADA programs with clear customer and business impact.
  • Successful expansion and adoption of new hardware and fault‑isolation techniques across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong alignment between technology development, industry needs, and market opportunities.
