Product Management Operations Intern

Location: Remote (US Based), Dallas area base preferred

Internship: (3 Months); preferred dates are June 1- Aug 31, but we're flexible

The Role:

As a Product Management Operations Intern, you won't just be "helping out"—you will be building the infrastructure that allows our PMs to make data-driven decisions and ship world-class software. You will sit at the intersection of Product, Data, Engineering, and Customer Success, acting as the connective tissue that ensures operational excellence.

Responsibilities:Data Analysis & Insights
  • Usage Analytics: Clean and analyze product usage data (via Pendo, Mixpanel, or Amplitude) to identify friction points in the user journey.
  • Feedback Synthesis: Consolidate qualitative feedback from Sales, Support, and Gong recordings into actionable themes for the PM team.
  • KPI Reporting: Assist in maintaining product health dashboards, tracking metrics like NDR (Net Dollar Retention), MAU (Monthly Active Users), and feature adoption rates.
Process Optimization
  • The "Product Operating System": Audit and refine our internal documentation in Notion/Confluence to ensure a "single source of truth" for product specs and roadmaps.
  • Launch Coordination: Support the "Go-to-Market" (GTM) process by ensuring Marketing and Sales teams have the latest release notes and training materials.
  • Tooling Management: Help optimize our product stack (Jira, Productboard, Figma) to reduce administrative overhead for PMs.
User Research Support
  • Participant Recruitment: Coordinate with the Customer Success team to build a database of "Beta" users for new feature testing.
  • Survey Administration: Design and deploy NPS (Net Promoter Score) or CSAT surveys and present findings to the leadership team.
Requirements:
  • Education: Currently pursuing an MBA or an Undergraduate degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Analytical Mindset: You love spreadsheets and can turn raw data into a narrative. Proficiency in Excel/SQL is a significant plus.
  • Systems Thinker: You enjoy finding ways to make complex processes simpler and more efficient.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; you can explain a technical bottleneck to a non-technical stakeholder.
  • SaaS Curiosity: A deep interest in the "business of software"—how it’s built, sold, and scaled.
What You’ll Learn
  • Strategic Product Thinking: How a mid-market SaaS company prioritizes a roadmap against competing commercial interests.
  • Lifecycle Management: Seeing a feature move from an "insight" to "development" to "general availability."
  • Executive Exposure: You will regularly present findings to Product leadership and gain insight into high-level business strategy.
Compensation:
$25.00/hr
