Job Description

As AI Product Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining Vuori's AI product roadmap and seeing AI capabilities through successful delivery. Working closely with AI engineers, business stakeholders, and design, you will keep the team focused on the right problems, ensure requirements are clear and actionable, and track progress from concept to production.

This role is well suited for a product practitioner who is energized by the day-to-day of shipping AI, someone who thrives on translating stakeholder needs into crisp requirements, removing blockers so teams can move fast, and staying close to outcomes to know when something is truly working for users and the business.

What you'll get to do:

Maintain and manage the roadmap

  • Keep the AI product roadmap current, well-sequenced, and visible to stakeholders — reflecting business priorities, engineering capacity, and what is actually being built.
  • Work with business and technology leaders to surface AI opportunities, assess their value, and bring them into the roadmap through a structured prioritization process.
  • Facilitate trade-off conversations between stakeholders and engineering teams, helping the group land on decisions that balance impact, feasibility, and timing.
  • Communicate roadmap changes, sequencing decisions, and delivery status clearly and on a regular cadence, so stakeholders are never surprised.
  • Flag risks and dependencies early, so teams have time to adapt before they become blockers.

Drive successful delivery

  • Translate business needs and user requirements into clear, detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria that engineering and design can act on.
  • Work alongside AI engineers throughout delivery — answering questions, clarifying scope, reviewing work in progress, and making fast, informed decisions when scope needs to change.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and rituals — sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives — that keep cross-functional teams aligned and moving forward.
  • Manage launches end to end: rollout plans, stakeholder communication, go-live readiness, and post-launch monitoring.
  • Follow up after launch to confirm that what was built is working as intended, and surface issues quickly for resolution.

Partner and measure

  • Build strong working relationships with business teams, operations, merchants, and marketing to understand their workflows, pain points, and where AI can genuinely help.
  • Work with engineering and data teams to track whether AI features are performing as expected — on both technical measures and user and business outcomes.
  • Collect and synthesize user feedback, usage data, and stakeholder input to inform a continuous improvement backlog.
  • Advocate for the end user throughout the development process, ensuring AI capabilities are intuitive, trustworthy, and fit for the people who use them.
  • Provide regular progress updates and impact summaries to senior leadership, grounded in data.

Qualifications

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent years of experience preferred.
  • 5+ years of product management experience, including 2+ years working on AI, machine learning, or data-driven products shipped to real users in production environments.
  • Demonstrated track record of managing a product roadmap and delivering features end to end, with measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong ability to listen to stakeholders and users and translate their needs into clear, actionable product requirements.
  • Solid working knowledge of AI and ML concepts — enough to have substantive conversations with engineers and make grounded trade-off decisions.
  • Experience tracking and reporting on the performance of AI products, including both technical and business success metrics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adjust for engineering, design, business, and executive audiences.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a consistent bias toward action, with strong organizational and follow-through skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience shipping LLM-powered products, conversational AI, recommendation systems, or agentic workflows to production users.
  • Familiarity with AI evaluation approaches, responsible AI principles, and the unique considerations of deploying AI features to real users at scale.
  • Experience with enterprise AI or SaaS platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, or similar.
  • Comfort working with data — SQL, BI dashboards, or A/B testing frameworks — to independently assess product performance.
  • Experience in retail, e-commerce, direct-to-consumer, or a similar consumer operating environment.
  • Demonstrated curiosity about emerging AI technologies and a history of bringing new capabilities to market.
