About Ramp

Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $100B in annualized spend flows in and out of 50,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.

The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.

We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.

The median Ramp customer saves 5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.

If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.

About the Role

As the Product Manager for Financial Intelligence, you will be a driving force behind the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Ramp’s next generation of financial insight and analytics products. You will partner with engineering, design, data, and cross-functional stakeholders to build intelligent experiences that help finance teams unlock deeper understanding, proactive insights, and decision tools from financial data. This role blends structured data products, AI-native experiences, and exploratory product discovery across reporting surfaces, analytics platforms, and advanced insights workflows. You will define and own the strategy for your domain in order to meet ambitious company goals and reimagine how customers interact with their financial data.

Please note that this Product Management role will require you to be comfortable with working in-person at one of our NYC or SF offices at least 2 days/week

  • Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Ramp’s financial intelligence offerings, including reporting surfaces, analytics capabilities, and AI-powered insight experiences.

  • Drive high-velocity execution with a world-class team of engineers, designers, other builders, balancing principled intuition with data-driven decision making

What You Need
  • BA/BS in a technical or analytical field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or related)

  • Minimum 5 years of product management or adjacent product-building experience.

  • Strong product judgment and first-principles thinking, especially at the intersection of structured data surfaces, analytics, and customer workflows.

  • AI fluency and passion, shown through deep understanding of technical concepts and hands-on experience building, prototyping, or side projects, and staying current on research and tools.

  • Fluency with modern prototyping tools (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor) and comfort with design/collaboration environments like Figma and Git.

  • Fluency in data and experimentation, and understanding when the answer cannot be found in the data

  • Proven ability to lead small, cross-functional teams toward ambitious goals with urgency and agency.

  • Ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences, synthesizing complex systems into compelling narratives.

  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills
