Job Description:

At CSI, we're transforming the future of fraud prevention and dispute management for community and regional financial institutions. We are seeking a Product Manager to help lead the evolution of our fraud portfolio while supporting a growing customer base.

This is a unique opportunity for a product professional with deep issuer-side card fraud expertise and strong product management experience to influence both current and next-generation fraud solutions. You will play a critical role in evaluating, defining, and implementing a modern omni-channel fraud platform while ensuring the continued success of our existing fraud products.

What You'll Do

As a Product Manager, you will serve as the bridge between customers, business stakeholders, and development teams to deliver innovative fraud and dispute solutions that address evolving industry challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct a comprehensive assessment of CSI's existing fraud and dispute product portfolio, including tools, vendors, integrations, workflows, and data flows.

  • Define product requirements, epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria for fraud and dispute initiatives.

  • Lead product planning and roadmap development for both existing and future fraud solutions.

  • Research, evaluate, and validate emerging fraud technologies and vendor platforms.

  • Partner with engineering and technical product owners to prioritize initiatives and deliver customer value.

  • Build business cases and support go-to-market strategies for new fraud products and enhancements.

  • Collaborate with relationship managers, card operations teams, sales, marketing, support teams, and financial institution customers.

  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and product validation activities.

  • Monitor industry trends involving fraud prevention, dispute management, ACH risk, instant payments, account takeover prevention, and transaction monitoring.

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for assigned products and initiatives.

About the Opportunity

As part of CSI's strategic growth initiatives, we are evaluating the next generation of fraud platforms capable of supporting an omni-channel fraud ecosystem across:

  • Debit and credit card fraud

  • ACH fraud

  • Instant payment fraud

  • Account takeover prevention

  • Transaction monitoring and risk decisioning

  • Dispute management

The Product Manager will help shape the future vision of these products while supporting existing solutions used by banks today.

What We're Looking For

Required Experience

  • Deep knowledge of issuer-side card processing and fraud prevention.

  • Experience working within a:

    • Financial institution

    • Card issuer

    • Payment processor

    • Payment technology provider

  • 3+ years of Product Management experience.

  • Proven ability to define product requirements, workflows, epics, and features.

  • Experience working closely with software development teams throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Strong understanding of Agile product management methodologies.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience gathering customer requirements and translating them into product solutions.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience supporting community banks, regional financial institutions, or card issuers.

  • Experience using: Jira, Aha, and Confluence or similar tools in an agile environment

  • Experience evaluating, implementing, or managing fraud platforms

  • Experience launching or modernizing fraud products from concept through implementation.

  • Working knowledge of SQL, fraud rule creation and testing, data analytics and reporting, API integrations and event-driven architectures

  • Experience supporting fraud decisioning engines, risk scoring platforms, or dispute management systems.

  • Exposure to machine learning, AI-driven fraud detection, identity verification, or behavioral analytics solutions.

Success in This Role

The ideal candidate combines strong product management fundamentals with practical fraud domain expertise. You'll be comfortable balancing the needs of an established product portfolio while helping CSI identify and build the next generation of fraud prevention solutions for our customers.

  • Evaluating vendor solutions

  • Working directly with customers

  • Partnering with development teams to deliver results

Work Environment & Travel

  • Fully remote position within the United States.

  • Approximately 20% customer-facing interaction.

  • Travel is expected for user conferences, customer demonstrations, collaboration sessions, and periodic team meetings.
