We are looking for a US-based Product Management / Product Marketing professional to support assay-related product initiatives for life science and biopharma applications. This role will focus on customer workflow understanding, market insights, product positioning, launch readiness, and commercial adoption.
This role can be fully remote, but the candidate must reside within the United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand customer needs and workflows across bioassays, functional assays, reagent-based assays, and related application areas.
- Conduct voice-of-customer interviews with biopharma, CRO, academic, and assay development customers.
- Analyze market trends, customer segments, competitive landscape, pricing dynamics, and application requirements.
- Support product positioning, messaging, value proposition, and differentiation.
- Work cross-functionally with R&D, sales, marketing, and regional teams to translate market needs into product and commercial plans.
- Develop go-to-market materials, sales tools, customer-facing content, and launch support plans.
- Identify KOLs, key accounts, and collaboration opportunities to support market development.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product management, product marketing, market development, or business development in life sciences tools, reagents, assays, or biotech solutions.
- Familiarity with bioassay workflows, reagent-based assays, cell-based assays, reporter systems, or plate-based detection technologies.
- Experience with VOC, market analysis, competitive assessment, product positioning, launch planning, and sales enablement.
- Strong commercial sense and ability to translate customer needs into actionable product and marketing strategy.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred
- Experience supporting assay, reagent, or molecular biology product portfolios.
- Prior experience in new product launch, market development, or application-driven product marketing.
- Good understanding of US biopharma, CRO, academic, or assay development customer segments.
- Experience working with cross-functional global teams.
