WHO WE ARE

The ASU+GSV Summit
Now in its 18th year, the ASU+GSV Summit is the world’s most important gathering of “PreK to Gray” education and workforce leaders. Held every April in San Diego, the 2026 event drew over 7,000 registrants to tackle the transformation of learning and skills delivery through generative AI, virtual reality, and other emerging technologies.

As of July 2025, GSV Summit became part of Hyve Group's portfolio, joining forces with Bett to create the largest and most impactful education innovation community in the world, now reaching an audience of over 100,000 participants across five events on four continents.

WHO IS THE PRODUCT TEAM?

The Product Team is the creative and strategic engine behind the ASU+GSV Summit experience. We design and deliver content that inspires action — from high-production keynotes with global thought leaders to provocative panels, interactive workshops, community activations, and live product demos.

We sit at the intersection of marketing, partnerships, and community, collaborating with education leaders, practitioners, entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, researchers, and thought leaders to shape the conversations that matter most in “PreK to Gray” learning.

Our work is structured around three core verticals—PreK-12, Higher Education, and Workforce—but the real power is in what we call “the magic in the mix.” Program often develops across verticals, so every team member takes a collaborative approach. We lean in to build the right program for the right audience at the right time, staying agile to launch new programs and rethink existing ones as needed.
ROLE OVERVIEW
We’re looking for a strategic, entrepreneurial Higher Ed Product Manager to shape the future of postsecondary education at the ASU+GSV Summit. This role goes beyond curating content—it’s a chance to build community, connection, and partnerships at the forefront of higher ed innovation.

Each year, 1,000+ leaders from 350+ colleges and universities join us to explore the most pressing opportunities and challenges in higher education—from institutional transformation and student success to digital learning, credentialing, and equitable access.

You’ll co-curate the Higher Ed content, engage our rapidly growing network of Higher Ed leaders, and develop strategic partnerships that drive year-round value. The role blends content strategy, community building, and business development, requiring creativity, precision, and deep sector insight. You’ll need a sharp understanding of the entire higher education ecosystem and how it’s evolving in the age of AI: who are the changemakers, innovative institutions, groundbreaking founders—the “stars of tomorrow?”

Past speakers have included Andrew Ng, Sam Altman, Michael Horn, Dr. John King, Dr. Paul LeBlanc, Dr. Bridget Burns, and Dr. Agenia Clark—among other visionary presidents, funders, and innovators. Leading partners such as Stanford University, American College of Education, Ellucian, and Guild help power this community. Through ongoing engagement and a global stage at ASU+GSV, we convene the boldest thinkers reimagining what’s possible for the future of higher education.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
As the Product Manager, Higher Education you will be responsible for:

Product Development, Program Curation & Project Management
  • Co-curate and execute the Higher Ed program vision, driving theme development and innovation for ASU+GSV Summit sessions that are timely, relevant, and high-impact.
  • Manage the end-to-end curation process: from idea generation to final session delivery.
  • Track and maintain accurate program documentation, session details, and speaker logistics with exceptional organization.  No detail is too small.

     Partnership Engagement
  • Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with potential partners and strategic partners to strengthen Higher Ed programming.
  • Collaborate with the partnership team to align program opportunities with business development goals.
  • Co-create innovative activations that drive partner value and revenue growth
  • Ensure partnership representation in programming aligns with Summit quality and mission.

Community Collaboration
  • Work closely with the Community Team to intentionally engage, nurture and grow the Higher Ed community, both in-person and year-round.
  • Leverage community insights to identify emerging leaders, trends, and conversation topics.

Relationship Management & Stakeholder Communication
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for Higher Ed speakers, moderators, and partners — delivering exceptional service and responsiveness.
  • Engage with Higher Ed Presidents, Provosts, Deans, EdTech founders, policymakers, and researchers to keep content at the forefront of the industry.

Technology & Process Excellence
  • Use Airtable, Cvent, generative AI, and other tools to streamline workflows and enhance program delivery.
  • Identify and test new technologies that can improve efficiency and attendee experience and business outcomes.

WHO YOU ARE
Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in the U.S. Higher Ed system and/or EdTech industry (AI in education experience strongly preferred)
  • Demonstrated success in program or product management, or  driving revenue through strategic partnerships, or B2B sales in EdTech, Higher Ed, or adjacent sectors.
Skills & Qualities
  • AI-obsessed: You bring deep curiosity about how AI is and will impact the Higher Ed sector, and you’re excited to explore emerging technologies with thought leaders.
  • Higher Ed Expertise: You have direct experience in or adjacent to the Higher Ed ecosystem, and understand the challenges and opportunities shaping its future—from institutional strategy to student success, workforce alignment, and innovation.
  • Connector & Relationship Builder: You have a talent for building authentic relationships and connecting ideas to opportunity—especially in complex, cross-sector spaces. You’re energized by collaborating with leaders at all levels.
  • Strategic Thinking Meets Execution: You’re both a big-picture thinker and a detail-oriented executor. You thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy toggling between high-level vision and practical execution.
  • Strong Communicator: You can synthesize complex ideas into crisp, compelling messaging—whether you’re writing speaker invitations, crafting session descriptions, or pitching a new idea to a partner.
  • Entrepreneurial Energy: You approach ambiguity with optimism, creativity, and a bias toward action. You’re energized by building, iterating, and moving fast to bring ideas to life—while staying organized and calm under pressure.
  • Collaborative & Curious: You’re a skilled collaborator who values feedback, iteration, and cross-functional teamwork. You’re always learning—especially when it comes to AI, tech, and the evolving PreK to Gray landscape.
  • Tech-Forward & Tech-Savvy: You’re facile with tools like Airtable, Cvent, Google Workspace, and AI-powered platforms that boost efficiency and creativity, and enhance business outcomes.
  • This role requires a willingness to travel and work extended hours in the weeks leading up to the Summit, as well as supplemental travel throughout the year.
