About Ramp

Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $200B in annualized spend flows in and out of 70,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.

The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.

We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.

The median Ramp customer saves 5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.

If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.

About the Role

As a Product Manager at Ramp, you will be responsible for the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Ramp’s international payments products. You will lead a core team of engineers and designers to build and scale global money movement capabilities that enable our customers to pay vendors, employees, and partners around the world. You’ll own a critical set of customer and business problems at the intersection of payments, compliance, risk, and FX — driving end-to-end product vision, strategy, and execution to power Ramp’s global expansion and meet ambitious company goals. Your scope will include:

  1. Cross-border payments & FX – Own the experience and infrastructure for sending and receiving international payments across currencies and geographies, including FX pricing, rate transparency, settlement speed, and reliability across multiple payment rails.

  2. Global partner ecosystem – Evaluate, integrate, and manage banking, FX, and local payment service partners to expand Ramp’s coverage, improve unit economics, and unlock new corridors and capabilities.

  3. Compliance & risk infrastructure – Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Risk to design scalable KYC/KYB, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, and regulatory frameworks that enable safe and compliant international money movement.

  4. New market expansion – Launch international capabilities in new geographies, navigating local regulations, licensing requirements, and operational constraints while delivering a seamless customer experience.

We’re looking for someone who can partner and collaborate across various internal teams, has a deep understanding of our customers and technology, and can deliver financial products to streamline complex business flows via a fantastic user experience.

What You'll Do
  • Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for international payments at Ramp

  • Drive high-velocity execution with a world-class team of engineers and designers, balancing principled intuition with data-driven decision making

  • Marry customer insights with technical possibilities, crafting intuitive user experiences that abstract away complexity

  • Help thousands of finance teams on Ramp more successfully manage their finances by expanding the capabilities of our product

  • Prototype rapidly using tools like Claude to accelerate the product development lifecycle and fast-forward to production-ready products.

  • Stay deeply plugged into AI research, industry trends, and emergent applications, filtering signal from noise and applying it creatively to Ramp’s product

What You Need
  • BA/BS in a technical or analytical field

  • Minimum 3 years product management experience

  • Strong customer empathy and design thinking

  • Fluency in data and how to make data-driven product decisions

  • Experience evaluating product decisions and prioritization trade-offs

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence small teams of engineers & designers toward a common goal

  • Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and large cross-functional teams

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Passion for AI, shown through hands-on building, prototyping, or side projects, and staying current on research and tools.

  • Fluency with modern prototyping tools (e.g. Cursor, Bolt, Claude Code) and comfort with design/collaboration environments like Figma and Git.

Nice-to-Haves
  • Background in fast-paced, high-growth startup environments

  • Experience building payments products or products in regulated markets

  • Experience building products with a significant AI component, especially if leveraging LLMs.
