What We Offer
Equal Opportunity Employer
At Félix, we are building the indispensable financial companion for Latinos in the US. We combine an AI-powered, conversational-first interface with real-time financial infrastructure to make cross-border money movement as easy as sending a text. Starting with fast, affordable remittances powered by AI and crypto rails, we are expanding into credit, savings, and wallet services to support the complete immigrant financial journey. Our ambition is to deliver a white-glove financial experience with the simplicity of a conversation to a community the traditional financial system has historically overlooked.
We are a hyper-growth Series C company, backed by over $300 million in funding from top-tier global investors, including Andreessen Horowitz, QED, Castle Island, Switch Ventures, HTwenty, Monashees, General Catalyst Customer Value Fund. This isn't just about the numbers; it's a testament to the trust our investors have in our vision and our team. Additionally, Félix was selected as an “Endeavour Entrepreneur” and was a recipient of the CrossTech Fintech Startups Award.
Joining Félix means you will be part of a team building a legacy, a company that will outlive us all. This is a rare opportunity to apply your skills to a deeply meaningful mission—serving a community that has been underserved for too long because we are obsessed with our customers. We get things done with urgency and focus, driven by extreme ownership over our impact. We collaborate without ego, fostering radical transparency and fierce loyalty so we can grow together. Because we aim for insanely great rather than just good enough, we stay insatiably curious—always experimenting, building the future today, and delivering a product that truly makes our users' lives better.
We've built an orchestration platform that runs our remittance transaction flow end to end. It handles the long-running, stateful, failure-prone work between "customer pressed send" and "money arrived": routing, compliance checks, partner calls, payouts, reconciliation, retries and compensation when a step fails.
Remittance is the first product on the platform. Our intent is for future products to launch on this layer rather than rebuild transaction orchestration. This is the senior product role for that piece of core company infrastructure.
- Platform strategy: Define what the orchestration platform is and isn't: its boundaries, guarantees, and non-goals. Decide which capabilities are platform primitives and which belong in consuming products, and hold that line under pressure.
- The path to multiple products: Own the sequencing and core changes needed before a second product can onboard, and the migration approach for remittance as the platform evolves underneath it.
- The product surface: Define the contracts teams build against — workflow interfaces, idempotency, retry and compensation semantics, timeouts, state visibility, SLAs — and the docs, onboarding and observability tooling that make the platform self-serve and operable.
- Roadmap and delivery: Run the platform engineering team's roadmap, balancing remittance reliability against platform investment, and own the platform's success metrics (workflow success rates, time-to-completion, manual intervention rate, time to resolve stuck workflows, time-to-integrate).
- Stakeholders and architecture: Represent the platform to operations, compliance and finance; partner with the engineering lead on architecture decisions with product consequences.
- 5+ years in product management with at least 3 years owning a platform, infrastructure, API, or backend product whose primary customers were other engineering teams. You have shipped something other teams built on, lived with the consequences of its abstractions, and can talk concretely about what you got wrong.
- Strong grounding in distributed-systems concepts: asynchronous processing, eventual consistency, at-least-once delivery, idempotency, compensation versus rollback, and the failure modes of long-running workflows. You can hold a design conversation with senior engineers as a peer.
- Payments, remittance, banking, ledger or transaction-processing experience. You understand settlement, reconciliation, payout partners and compliance screening well enough to know where the domain-specific logic ends.
- Exceptional written communication. Your specs and contracts will be the reference others depend on.
- Direct comfort with data: querying, reading dashboards, investigating anomalies without an intermediary.
- A track record of saying No to powerful internal stakeholders and being right often enough that they kept coming back.
- These are the applicable requirements, although equivalent competencies in any of the above will also be considered.
Nice to have:
- Hands-on product experience with a workflow or durable-execution engine — Temporal, Cadence, Step Functions, Camunda, or an in-house equivalent.
- Experience owning platform reliability outcomes, not just features.
- Competitive salary
- Initial stock options grant
- Annual performance bonus
- Unlimited PTO
- Paid parental leave
- Work model: currently fully remote, with a future transition to a hybrid setup
- Health, dental, and vision plans
- 401(k) with employer matching, for US-based employees
- Continuous learning opportunities
- Empowering opportunities for growth in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment
The starting base salary for this role typically ranges between $123,000 and $158,000 USD for Miami, and between $150,000 and $192,000 for New York and the Bay Area, tailored to experience and skill set. Because we are all owners of Félix, equity is a core component of our total compensation package. Your recruiter will walk you through our complete benefits, health coverage, equity structure, and total compensation details during your first call.
At Félix, we are committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all qualified employees and applicants without regard to race, religion, nationality, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, or disability.
