About Decagon

Decagon is the leading conversational AI platform empowering every brand to deliver concierge customer experiences.

Our technology enables industry-defining enterprises like Avis Budget Group, Block’s Cash App and Square, Chime, Oura Health, and Hunter Douglas to deploy AI agents that power personalized, deeply satisfying interactions across voice, chat, email, SMS, and every other channel.

We’re building a future where customer experiences are being redefined from support tickets and hold music to faster resolutions, richer conversations, and deeper relationships. We’re proud to be backed by world-class investors who share that vision, including a16z, Accel, Bain Capital Ventures, Coatue, and Index Ventures, along with many others.

We’re an in-office company, driven by a shared commitment to excellence and velocity. Our values — Just Get It Done, Invent What Customers Want, Winner’s Mindset, and The Polymath Principle — shape how we work and grow as a team.

About the Team

Over the past few years, development of LLMs has evolved at a rapid pace. Building truly successful AI products isn’t just about model quality — it’s about the infrastructure, tooling, and workflows that allow customers to configure, monitor, and improve their agents at scale.

The Product Management team owns Decagon’s platform and foundational features: agent building, testing, experimentation, analytics, QA, versioning, integrations, and enterprise controls. We work across every customer segment, partnering closely with engineering, design, and go-to-market to ensure our platform is robust, scalable, and easy to use.

As one of our founding PMs, you’ll help define the product foundation that every Decagon customer uses to build and run their AI agents. You’ll own initiatives end-to-end, from discovery and scoping to launch and adoption, shaping the product experience for some of the world’s most influential businesses.

About the Role

On the Product team, you’ll own the roadmap for a major product area and partner with customers and internal teams to deliver features that make Decagon’s platform powerful, flexible, and enterprise-ready. Your work might include:

  • Designing AI-powered features that turn raw conversation data into instant, actionable insights for customers.

  • Building intelligent systems that give enterprises precise control over how their agents learn, adapt, and deploy in production.

  • Creating self-serve configuration experiences that feel effortless — powered by real-time AI guidance and automation.

  • Expanding the platform’s reach by connecting AI agents to live data streams, tools, and APIs that unlock new use cases.

You’ll partner closely with engineering, design, sales, agent product managers and our leadership team to ensure the core platform meets the needs of both our largest enterprises and fastest-growing startups.

In this role, you will

  • Shape the roadmap for core capabilities that power the next generation of AI agents from first concept to launch.

  • Work closely with customers to uncover new ways AI can transform their workflows, unlock automation, and elevate customer experience.

  • Translate breakthrough ideas into clear product specs, then partner with engineering and design to bring them to life.

Your background looks something like this

  • Have 6+ years of relevant experience (e.g., product manager, founder, engineer, researcher etc.)

  • Strong technical acumen — comfortable discussing APIs, data models, and architecture with engineers.

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Proven track record of shipping impactful features in fast-paced environments.

Even better

  • A Computer Science, Engineering, or Math degree or equivalent technical experience.

  • Previous startup or high-growth company experience.

Benefits:

  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits

  • Take what you need vacation policy

  • Daily lunches, dinners and snacks in the office to keep you at your best
