Lead cross-geo product delivery: ship features with US engineers, own end-to-end customer delivery as DRI, translate CN↔EN context, run team cadence (standups, OKRs, Linear), and impose structure on ambiguous, fast-moving data collection and robotics product work.

Product Manager

At XDOF, we’re at an inflection point. Frontier labs are racing to build general-purpose robots, and high-quality training data is the bottleneck. We’re building the foundation behind the foundation models – the data collection systems, operational capability, exabyte-scale data warehouse, and software toolchain – to help our partners drive the field forward.

We operate across the US, Shenzhen, and Jakarta, and we’re moving fast on several fronts at once. We’re looking for a Product Manager to be the connective tissue: someone who ships directly with our US engineers, bridges our China and US teams, and owns delivery so work stays on track from the first customer conversation to the final dataset. If you have sharp product sense, a talent for bringing order to messy work, and you’re fluent in both Chinese and English, this role was built for you.

What You’ll Do

This person is the bridge between our offices and the owner of how work actually gets delivered. In practice, you’ll:

  • partner with US engineers, working in-timezone and shipping product directly alongside them

  • own product features end-to-end across different product lines – for example, building out the teleop/XMI product line

  • serve as the CN ↔ EN bridge between the US and China teams, translating context and intent, not just language

  • own customer delivery end-to-end as the DRI, from BD handoff through final data delivery

  • run the team’s operating cadence – standups, OKR check-ins, Linear hygiene – and keep work visible and searchable

  • bring structure to fast-moving, cross-geo tracking so nothing falls through the cracks between offices

About You

Baseline:

  • a proven PM with real product sense who ships directly with engineers

  • native or near-native fluency in both Chinese and English

  • a strong organizer who can impose structure on ambiguous, fast-moving work

  • 2+ years of relevant work experience

  • comfortable operating in 0→1 environments where the process doesn’t exist yet

You might be a good fit if you:

  • have worked in robotics, AI, or another deep-tech, data-heavy domain

  • have coordinated across time zones or distributed, multilingual teams

  • are fluent with modern project-tracking tools (Linear or similar) and like making work legible

  • have owned program management end-to-end, not just one stage of a pipeline

  • are mission-driven and energized by a fast pace – work at XDOF is fast and constant, and there’s a lot of it. We hope you love what you’ll be doing, because you’ll be doing a lot of it!

Key Facts About San Francisco Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 365,500; 13.9% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, Greylock Partners, Khosla Ventures, Kleiner Perkins
