Job Title: Product Marketer

Salary: $180K – $220K + Equity

Company Description: Duckbill - Heavybit and Uncork backed Cloud Fintech

Job Description:
As the founding Product Marketer, you will define the narrative for Skyway, Duckbill’s SaaS platform for cloud financial data. You’ll move beyond demand gen to architect category-defining positioning and sales enablement for enterprise buying committees. Working directly with the CEO, you will transform deep domain expertise into a repeatable, high-impact market strategy.

Location: San Francisco, USA

Why this role is remarkable:

  • Founding impact as the first PMM hire, building the entire product marketing function and strategy from the ground up for a high-growth SaaS product.

  • Strong financial backing from premier investors Heavybit and Uncork Capital, with $7.75M raised to tackle a $47.5B public cloud management market.

  • Exceptional benefits including 100% employer-paid health, dental, and vision premiums, plus meaningful early-stage equity with significant upside potential.

What you will do:

  • Partner directly with the Co-Founder & CEO to own and execute the company’s global positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy.

  • Extract domain knowledge from expert ""Cloud Economists"" to craft compelling narratives that resonate with CFOs, engineering leaders, and procurement teams.

  • Create a comprehensive sales enablement suite, including competitive intelligence programs and persona-specific collateral to drive complex enterprise deals.

The ideal candidate:

  • 3-5 years of dedicated product marketing experience within the B2B enterprise software space, specifically managing complex stakeholder buying committees.

  • Proven track record of successfully launching technical products and building go-to-market processes from scratch in an early-stage startup environment.

  • Strategic thinker with deep analytical skills and curiosity for domains like FinOps, FP&A, or cloud infrastructure management.
