About Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies - from the world's largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups - use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About the team

Our Product Marketing team's mission is to generate customer insights that inform Stripe's product strategy, and lead go-to-market for our suite of products. Product Marketing is a highly cross-functional role at Stripe, partnering closely with Product and Engineering, Sales, Partnerships, Demand Generation and Campaigns to name a few. Different from many other Product Marketing teams, our team works across the entire product lifecycle, from helping shape the product, to driving launch and commercialization, to growing product adoption post-launch. We also drive both self-serve and sales-sold marketing efforts.

We are looking for an experienced product marketing leader to own our go-to-market strategy and grow adoption for Stripe Billing—which includes Subscriptions, Invoicing, and Metronome.

What you'll do
  • Define and lead the go-to-market strategy for all Billing products, including segmentation, target audiences, positioning, launches, and post-launch adoption.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of product marketers, setting clear priorities and raising the bar for strategic thinking, customer insight, and execution.
  • Synthesize customer, market, and competitive insights to inform product strategy, roadmap prioritization, and differentiated commercialization plans.
  • Develop clear, compelling positioning and messaging that translates complex revenue-management capabilities into value for executive and technical audiences.
  • Partner with Sales, Partnerships, Demand Generation, and Campaigns to equip go-to-market teams with the narratives, enablement, and programs needed to engage enterprise customers effectively.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through high-stakes launches and growth initiatives, aligning senior stakeholders around decisions, sequencing, and customer outcomes.
  • Establish success metrics and use customer, sales, and product data to assess performance, identify growth opportunities, and improve go-to-market strategy over time.
  • Represent the product area in executive narratives, customer conversations, and key industry moments, building credibility with enterprise audiences and internal leaders.
Minimum requirements
  • 15+ years of product marketing experience, preferably in B2B technology
  • 5+ years of experience managing teams, with a proven record of building and leading high-performing, highly cross-functional teams
  • Deep experience marketing to enterprise audiences, with a demonstrated ability to understand complex buying committees, long sales cycles, and sophisticated business needs.
  • High comfort toggling between big-picture strategy and detailed execution, with a strong bias to action.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with a proven track record of explaining complex technical concepts in ways that executive, technical, and non-technical audiences can understand.
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience in billing, payments, subscription management, financial operations, or an adjacent industry.
  • Experience marketing to AI companies
