Marketing at Brex

The Marketing team tells the Brex story, determines messaging and positioning, and translates our products and features into tangible customer benefits. Our marketers are responsible for acquiring and growing customers and have a deep understanding of both the business and our customers. We’re a highly cross-functional team and partner most closely with the Product, Sales, and Design teams to show our prospects and customers how we can help them reach their full potential. What you’ll do

What You'll Do

As a Product Marketing Lead at Brex, you'll drive end-to-end storytelling for Brex products and customers. You'll lead product launches and go-to-market strategies — defining narratives, shaping positioning, creating cross-channel campaigns, and aligning the customer journey to convert pipeline and grow adoption.

You're a maker who shapes the strategy and builds the work: landing pages, creative campaigns, videos, pitch decks. You genuinely love storytelling and obsess over what makes your customers tick. In a market where products often look the same, the narrative war is won through sharper positioning, bolder creative, and deeper audience connection. You're the one who concepts and makes the work that wins it.

Where you’ll work

This role will be based in our San Francisco, CA or New York, NY office. We are a hybrid environment that combines the energy and connections of being in the office with the benefits and flexibility of working from home. We currently require three days per week in office - Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. As a perk, we also have up to four weeks per year of fully remote work!

Responsibilities
  • Build narrative, product positioning, and GTM strategy for Brex products and customer segments
  • Deeply understand your customers through research, sales call listening, and direct conversations to inform strategy and creative
  • Develop full-funnel marketing campaigns, product launches, and sales plays to optimize every stage of the journey, from acquisition to adoption to retention
  • Concept and create sales and marketing assets (pitch decks, web pages, case studies, videos, and more) that demonstrate why Brex is the best solution
  • Work with Sales Enablement to create training and resources that help reps win deals
  • Partner with Brand, Design, and Events to create compelling content experiences, including panel and keynote presentations
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of your initiatives, using data to optimize strategies and achieve business goals
Requirements
  • 10+ years in product marketing (ideally at a B2B SaaS or fintech company)
  • 3+ years leading teams and/or cross-functional strategic initiatives involving executive-level stakeholders
  • Proven track record of translating features and products into compelling, customer-centric positioning, narratives, and campaigns
  • Natural ability to find the unique story that cuts through the noise and bring it to life across formats and channels
  • Strong creative judgment with the ability to give clear, constructive feedback that elevates work
  • Customer-obsessed with deep empathy for the people you're marketing to
  • Expertise in market segmentation, personas, and customer journey mapping
  • Strategic thinker who executes tactically and works cross-functionally—a maker at heart
  • Proficiency with AI tools for productivity and content creation
Compensation

The expected salary range for this role in SF or NYC is $248,600 - $279,675. However, the starting base pay will depend on a number of factors including the candidate’s location, skills, experience, market demands, and internal pay parity. Depending on the position offered, equity and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package.

Please be aware, job-seekers may be at risk of targeting by malicious actors looking for personal data. Brex recruiters will only reach out via LinkedIn or email with a brex.com domain. Any outreach claiming to be from Brex via other sources should be ignored.
