About First Connect:
First Connect Insurance Services is a digital platform providing independent insurance agents with access to top US carriers and the options necessary to grow their businesses. Agents can work with over 150 carriers, selling various insurance policies, including home, auto, small businesses, and more. We're on a mission to overhaul the technology agents have access to, putting consumer-grade software at their fingertips. We've got thousands of active agents with hundreds of joining monthly, and we plan to accelerate our growth.

Role Overview:
We’re looking for an experienced Product Marketing Manager to join our growing marketing team. You’ll shape how our agency and carrier partners understand and adopt our products,
developing strategic positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies. This is a highly cross-functional role, working closely with Product, Sales, and Support teams to develop and distribute content that drives awareness, understanding, and adoption. The ideal candidate is a strong storyteller, strategic thinker, a proactive collaborator who’s excited to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

What You’ll Do:

Positioning & Messaging
● Define clear, compelling messaging and value propositions for our products and features.
● Distill product capabilities into differentiated customer-facing narratives that align with market needs.
● Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Support teams to ensure consistent positioning across all touchpoints.

Go-to-Market Strategy & Execution
● Own product and feature launches from planning to execution—coordinating with Product, Sales, Support teams and Marketing channel owners to ensure successful rollouts.
● Develop and execute against tiered GTM playbooks that help us move fast and iterate quickly.
● Monitor, evaluate, and report GTM performance. Content Creation & Campaign Support
● Create and maintain a range of marketing assets, including product videos, one-pagers, website copy, case studies, and blogs.
● Support integrated marketing campaigns with content tailored to target audiences and personas. Develop customer stories and proof points that highlight the value of First Connect.

Enablement & Insights
● Equip customer-facing teams with the right tools, messaging, and training to position First Connect products effectively.
● Collaborate with Product to deeply understand the needs of our partners, both independent insurance agents and carriers, through research, interviews, and competitive analysis.

What You Bring:
● 5+ years of B2B product marketing experience in a start-up environment. Fintech/Insurtech experience is a plus.
● Strong storytelling and copywriting skills with an eye for clarity, tone, and audience fit.
● Experience launching products and supporting go-to-market strategies in partnership with cross-functional teams.
● Solid understanding of the SMB buyer journey and experience crafting content for multiple personas and funnel stages.
● Excellent communication and project management skills.
● High EQ and proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
● Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or communications.

Benefits & Perks:
First Connect treats its team members with the same level of dedication and care as we do our customers, which is why we're fortunate to provide our team with:

  • Multiple medical plans to choose from and 100% employer-covered dental; vision plans for our team members and their families.
  • A 401(k) retirement plan, short- and long-term disability, employer-paid life insurance, Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) for health and dependent care, and an Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Work-From-Home Stipend — Employer-provided WFH equipment and an $85 monthly expense stipend to ensure you're set up for success
  • Equity — This position is eligible for equity compensation
  • Training and Career Growth — Training and internal career growth opportunities
  • Flexible Time Off — You know when and how you should recharge

The base pay range for the role is $155,000 - $165,000. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, location, business needs and market demands.
