About Canals

Canals is a bootstrapped, profitable startup transforming wholesale distribution (a trillion-dollar industry) with AI. Our platform integrates seamlessly with the systems distributors already use, automating tedious tasks and reducing failure points in moving physical goods across the globe.

We’re a 55-person, fully remote team (40 in engineering) across North and South America, operating at millions in ARR and growing rapidly — without outside funding.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Product Marketing Lead to shape how Canals tells its story — both to the market and to our customers.

You’ll be responsible for defining positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for our product lines. You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Sales, and Customer Success to turn complex AI-driven automation into clear, compelling value propositions that drive awareness, adoption, and retention.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role — ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of storytelling, data, and go-to-market execution.

What You’ll Do
  • Define positioning and messaging that clearly communicates the value of Canals’ products and differentiates us in the market.

  • Partner with Product and Engineering to translate technical capabilities into user-focused benefits.

  • Develop launch strategies for new features, products, and verticals — from planning to execution.

  • Create customer-facing content (case studies, one-pagers, videos, decks, website copy) that drives engagement and conversions.

  • Equip Sales and Success teams with enablement materials, competitive intel, and talk tracks.

  • Analyze market trends and customer feedback to inform roadmap priorities and refine messaging.

  • Collaborate with Demand Gen and Field Marketing to align campaigns with product launches and audience segments.

  • Own key metrics around product adoption, NPS, and marketing-sourced revenue.

What We’re Looking For
  • 3–6+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, or B2B SaaS marketing.

  • Proven success developing messaging, positioning, and GTM strategies for technical products.

  • Strong writing, storytelling, and presentation skills — you can simplify the complex.

  • Comfort working cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Engineering.

  • Self-starter with a bias for action — capable of moving fast with limited oversight.

  • Experience in SaaS, AI, or automation technology a major plus.

  • Bonus: background in wholesale, supply chain, or industrial software.

Why Join Canals
  • Bootstrapped and profitable — stability without venture chaos.

  • Clear impact — your work directly influences growth, adoption, and customer success.

  • Tight-knit, high-velocity team — collaborate closely with founders and engineers.

  • Remote-first, flexible environment across North and South America.

  • Creative ownership — freedom to experiment, build, and shape our story.
