About Assembled

Great customer support requires human agents and AI in perfect balance, and Assembled is the only unified platform that orchestrates both at scale. Companies like Canva, Etsy, and Robinhood use Assembled to coordinate their entire support operation — in-house agents, BPOs, and AI — in a single operating system. With AI Agents that resolve cases end-to-end, AI Copilot for agent assistance, and AI-powered workforce management that optimizes both human and AI capacity, Assembled helps teams deliver faster, better service while making smarter decisions about how to staff and automate. Backed by $71M from NEA, Emergence Capital, and Stripe, we're building the platform that makes AI and human collaboration actually work.

The Role

We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager who's got storytelling skills for days and a hunger to make an impact. As a critical hire on the Marketing team (and 1 of 2 PMMs), you’ll be empowered to run when it comes to go-to-market strategy, product launches, sales enablement, persona development, competitive intel, and more. You’ll be expected to think like a GM and execute like an Olympian.

This is a high-impact, high-learning role on a scrappy, creative marketing team. You'll be a go-to partner for our entire Sales, Product, and Marketing teams and have a measurable impact on the company’s strategy and trajectory. We're looking for someone resourceful, curious, and deeply AI-fluent who thrives when given real ownership early.

Our next chapter of growth depends on differentiated product narratives, bulletproof sales pitches, and strong relationships. Sound like something you'd want to take on?

What You’ll Do

  • Own positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for our core product line

  • Tackle big-picture storytelling at the brand, category, and investor-facing level

  • Partner with the Marketing team on campaign messaging and content that converts

  • Architect the messaging infrastructure and sources of truth that automated systems can draw from to generate sales assets, campaigns, and enablement content at scale

  • Lead product launches end-to-end, coordinating across Engineering, Product, and even our founders to bring announcements to life with impact

  • Build and maintain a real-time competitive intelligence system, using AI tools to monitor and synthesize market signals continuously

  • Design sales enablement frameworks — pitch decks, one-pagers, battlecards, demo scripts — that reps can use and AI systems can adapt on demand

What You Bring

  • 2–5 years of product marketing experience at an early-stage, high-growth, or fast-paced company where you had to wear many hats

  • Strong writing and storytelling skills — you can distill complex, technical product capabilities into clear, compelling narratives for support & CX leaders

  • Advanced proficiency with AI tools — you use AI daily to build systems, accelerate research, create content, and refine messaging

  • Insatiable curiosity about customers and markets — you dig into "why" before building "what," and you leverage a deep understanding of the buyer journey to improve the product experience

  • Comfort with ambiguity — you're not easily rattled by shifting timelines or priorities

  • Cross-functional collaboration skills — you work fluidly across Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Marketing, and know how to earn trust with senior stakeholders

  • Bias toward action — you're resourceful, creative under pressure, and always find a better way to get things done

The estimated base salary range for this role is $150,000 - $200,000 per year. The base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Stock options are provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.

Our U.S. benefits

  • Generous medical, dental, and vision benefits

  • Flexible time off

  • Monthly credits to spend on each: wellness, Assembled customers, commuting, and AI tools

  • Paid parental leave

  • A meal plan to support our in-office working model: catered lunches everyday (M-F), snacks, and beverages in our SF & NY offices

  • 401(k) plan enrollment

We know great candidates don’t always meet every requirement listed in a job description. If the role excites you and you believe you can make an impact at Assembled, we encourage you to apply. We value diverse perspectives and are committed to building an inclusive workplace where everyone feels like they belong and has the opportunity to do their best work. We look forward to hearing from you!
