Overview of the Position

The Product Marketing Manager (PMM) for the Commerce Division is responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategies that drive awareness, adoption, and growth for Cordance’s e-commerce and thrift retail solutions. This role bridges product management, sales, and marketing, ensuring that product value is clearly articulated to the market and internal stakeholders.

Core ResponsibilitiesGo-to-Market Strategy
  • Own the development and execution of go-to-market plans for new products and feature releases within the Commerce Division.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to define positioning, messaging, and pricing strategies.
  • Develop product launch materials, including internal enablement documents, customer-facing collateral, and demand generation content.
Positioning & Messaging
  • Craft compelling product positioning and messaging that differentiates Cordance’s Commerce solutions in the e-commerce and thrift retail marketplace.
  • Translate technical capabilities into business benefits for various audiences, including prospects, customers, analysts, and internal teams.
Sales Enablement
  • Create and deliver sales enablement tools, including battle cards, pitch decks, objection handling guides, and competitive analysis.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to drive product understanding, improve win rates, and shorten sales cycles.
Market Intelligence
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Commerce trends, regulatory changes, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.
  • Provide feedback to product management to inform product roadmap decisions.
Content & Demand Generation Support
  • Partner with demand generation and content marketing teams to develop thought leadership pieces, webinars, case studies, and campaign assets focused on e-commerce and thrift retail topics.
  • Support customer advocacy efforts by identifying and developing customer success stories.
Product Adoption & Customer Success
  • Work closely with customer success and product teams to drive adoption of Commerce products.
  • Develop onboarding materials, product documentation, and in-product guidance to support customer success.
Competencies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent collaboration skills across product, marketing, and sales teams.
Required Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of product marketing experience in B2B SaaS, with at least 2 years focused on Commerce (e-commerce and thrift retail is a plus), risk management, legal tech, or related industries.
  • Proven experience supporting product launches, developing positioning and messaging, and enabling sales teams.
Preferred Experience
  • MBA is a plus.

  • Drive product understanding, improve win rates, and shorten sales cycles.
  • Drive adoption of Commerce products.
