About the Role
The Product Operations & Strategy Senior Manager will serve as the strategic co-pilot, product operator, and force-multiplier for the Head of Consumer Lending. Embedded directly inside our highest-leverage credit growth vertical, your mission is to drive product excellence, shape product strategy, and build the operational engine that articulates vision across all credit squads.
In this role, you will bridge credit strategy with execution as a product leader who thinks in terms of user value, funnel conversion, unit economics, and feature adoption. You will bring structure to complex product ecosystems without introducing corporate bureaucracy—owning the product management rhythm (from OKRs and Product Discovery to Roadmap Summits and go-to-market execution) while serving as the central connective tissue between Product Managers, Engineering, Credit Risk, Data, and Compliance teams.
This role is built for a highly independent, product-minded operator who thrives in high-ambiguity environments, possesses sharp business acumen, and is obsessed with understanding user needs, optimizing core lending funnels, and scaling product adoption nationwide.
Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Executive Alignment: Partner directly with the Head of Consumer Lending to define, articulate, and execute the product vision for credit products. Translate complex lending models into crisp product roadmaps, executive business cases, and strategic direction for internal squads and external partners.
- Squad & Triad Enablement: Act as the operational connective tissue for Consumer Lending squads (PMs, Tech Leads, Design Leads). Facilitate cross-squad alignment on technical dependencies, release readiness, and product discovery loops without adding friction or bureaucracy.
- Product Operations & Lifecycle Management: Architect and own the operational infrastructure that enables high-velocity product delivery. Establish product feedback loops, feature rollout frameworks, and experiment cadences (A/B testing) to maximize product impact and user retention.
- Roadmap Cadence & Product Alignment: Facilitate product alignment across Consumer Lending squads. Lead OKR planning, cross-squad product dependencies mapping, and periodic Roadmap Summits to ensure seamless feature delivery and go-to-market readiness.
- Product Process Optimization: Continually audit and streamline how product decisions are made, documented, and shipped—eliminating organizational friction and focusing strictly on shipping value to users rather than executing rigid frameworks.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience directly within Product Management, Product Strategy, Product Operations, or BizOps in hyper-growth tech/fintech companies.
- Fintech & Credit/Lending Expertise: Understanding of digital financial products, credit risk lifecycle, consumer lending, cards, or payments infrastructure is preferred but not necessary.
- Product-First & Analytical Mindset: Deeply comfortable working with product metrics (funnel conversion, drop-offs, CAC/LTV, activation, retention), designing user journeys, and leveraging SQL/BI tools to back up product decisions with data.
- Strategic & Autonomous Operator: Exceptional ability to operate independently, manage up, challenge assumptions constructively, and align cross-functional leaders (Product, Engineering, Risk, Legal, Compliance) around product priorities.
- Customer & UX Obsession: Strong passion for building intuitive user experiences, particularly for underserved communities, with an appreciation for simple, conversational UI/UX.
- Modern Tooling & AI Curiosity: Hands-on experience with agile product management platforms (ClickUp, Jira, Notion, Amplitude/Mixpanel) and a genuine enthusiasm for leveraging AI/LLM workflows to optimize product delivery.
- Bilingual Fluency: 100% fluent in both English and Spanish (written and verbal) is required, as you will host executive meetings and coordinate cross-border teams across the U.S. and LATAM.
- These are the applicable requisites, although equivalent competencies in any of the above will also be considered.
