About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

About the Role
Great product marketing starts with great storytelling. We’re looking for a Product Marketing Manager to bring our story, and our customers’ stories, to life for Missionforce. You’ll take dense, technical material and turn it into clear, persuasive stories that move government leaders to act. You’ll partner with Product, Sales, Industry Strategy, and Demand Generation to drive adoption and pipeline, and your words will be at the center of how we do it.
What You’ll Do

  • Write the PSS story: Craft positioning, messaging frameworks, and value propositions tailored to agency leaders, CIOs, program owners, and procurement stakeholders. Make every sentence earn its place.
  • Turn technical into compelling: Work with engineers and product managers to transform architecture, features, and roadmap details into content that persuades both technical evaluators and mission-focused executives.
  • Create content that drives action: Write and shape solution briefs, whitepapers, executive narratives, web copy, email campaigns, demo scripts, press and launch materials, and customer stories. Each piece should have a clear audience, a point of view, and a call to action.
  • Set the voice: Help define and maintain PSS tone, style, and terminology so every asset, from a sales deck to a landing page, sounds consistent and credible.
  • Edit and elevate: Review and sharpen content from teammates, partners, and agencies. Give feedback that improves clarity, structure, and impact.
  • Lead go-to-market execution: Plan and launch releases, campaigns, and events across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Partners.
  • Enable the field: Build sales plays, pitch decks, battlecards, talk tracks, and FAQs. Coach sellers and solution engineers to tell the PSS story with confidence.
  • Showcase mission outcomes: Develop customer references and case studies that show real results for agencies and the people they serve.
  • Know the market: Track public sector trends, procurement dynamics, compliance and security requirements (e.g., FedRAMP, state and local regulations), and the competitive landscape.
  • Measure what works: Use engagement, pipeline influence, and field feedback to refine messaging and content.

What You’ll Bring

  • 6–10 years of public sector experience (federal, state, local, education, or related) in product marketing, solutions marketing, content marketing, or a closely related role.
  • A portfolio of standout writing that shows you can turn highly technical source material into content that inspires customers to take action. You’ll be asked to share samples.
  • Exceptional command of language: clear structure, sharp editing, and the ability to adapt tone for executives, technical buyers, and the public.
  • Strong understanding of how public sector buyers evaluate, fund, and procure technology.
  • Experience launching products or solutions and enabling sales teams.
  • Comfort working with engineers, product leaders, and executives, and simplifying complex ideas without losing accuracy.
  • Strong collaboration and project management skills.
  • A data-informed mindset, with the ability to use metrics to refine your work.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • An ownership, team-first mentality. An ability to identify opportunities and take initiative to solve problems.
  • Excellent stakeholder management.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with CRM, case management, or citizen and constituent service platforms.
  • Familiarity with AI and automation in government settings.
  • Experience with SaaS or cloud platforms.
  • Existing relationships in the Washington, DC public sector community.

Success in the First Year

  • 30 days: Learn the PSS portfolio, customers, and competitors. Audit existing content for clarity and consistency.
  • 90 days: Deliver refreshed messaging as assigned and key sales enablement assets.
  • 6 months: Launch a flagship campaign anchored by standout content, with measurable pipeline impact.
  • 12 months: Be a trusted voice of PSS across Product, Sales, and customers.

This candidate must be a U.S. citizen (U.S. born or naturalized) who does not hold dual citizenship and agrees to complete a U.S. federal government Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) for a Moderate Public Trust position.
