What You’ll Do

As a Production Engineer in Security at CoreWeave, you'll ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our security systems and cloud platform. You'll develop and maintain systems that support our rapidly growing infrastructure, automate operational tasks, and continuously improve the security and resiliency of our services.

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and highly available security related infrastructure using Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies
  • Develop automation and monitoring solutions to proactively identify and mitigate reliability risks
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize system performance, reduce latency, and improve service uptime
  • Participate in incident management, conduct root cause analysis, and implement solutions to prevent recurrence
  • Mentor and guide team members on best practices in reliability and security engineering and infrastructure management

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in site reliability engineering, DevOps, security engineering, security operations or related roles
  • Strong proficiency with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and cloud-native technologies
  • Expertise in automation and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go
  • Experience managing large-scale distributed systems and ensuring their reliability

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with observability platforms (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).

The base salary range for this role is $139,000 to $275,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).

Our Workplace

While we prioritize a hybrid work environment, remote work may be considered for candidates located more than 30 miles from an office, based on role requirements for specialized skill sets. New hires will be invited to attend onboarding at one of our hubs within their first month. Teams also gather quarterly to support collaboration
