Diamond Foundry is seeking an experienced and authoritative Production Supervisor to lead our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for the strategic oversight of production shifts, ensuring that all output meets our rigorous quality standards while maintaining a culture of safety and operational excellence. The Production Supervisor will manage a cross-functional team of technicians, driving efficiency through high-level troubleshooting and proactive leadership.
 
Schedule: Thursday-Satuday alternating every other Wednesday, 6pm-6am

Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership & Strategy: Direct daily shift workflows and manage cross-functional team coordination to meet or exceed production throughput and yield targets.

  • Advanced Troubleshooting: Serve as the primary technical resource for equipment issues, performing complex machinery setups and coordinating with maintenance for specialized repairs.

  • Training Compliance & Mentorship: Oversee the Training Qualification Program, ensuring all staff remain current with SOP revisions and mentoring the team toward Level 2 and Level 3 expertise.

  • Technical Resource Management: Act as the primary technical point for escalation, diagnosing complex issues and coordinating with Maintenance or Engineering as required.

  • Process & Quality Control: Enforce strict adherence to safety and quality rules as we prepare to acquire our ISO 9001 standard. Supervisor is to perform audits on production data and maintain a 5S/ Lean manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Proven Leadership & Ownership: Extensive manufacturing leadership experience (typically 3+ years) or an advanced degree with 2+ years of manufacturing experience characterized by a proactive drive to lead. Possesses a proven track record of managing production teams in high-growth environments. Demonstrates the ability to spearhead production and drive cross-functional results through initiative and ownership. 

  • Regulatory & Safety Expertise: Deep understanding of EHS regulatory requirements, emergency response protocols, and workplace safety standards.

  • Strategic Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate technical challenges and operational updates to senior management along with  diverse production teams.

  • Advanced Data Literacy: Proficiency in using Google Workspace and  Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) software to track, verify, and report production metrics.

  • High-Level Communication Skills: Ability to clearly relay technical challenges and shift updates to both the production team and senior management.

Manufacturing and Engineering Departments Physical Requirements:
-Use appropriate PPE and follow all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
-This position will often: Sit, stand for long periods, walk, grasp, reach with hands and arms, lift below and above shoulders, bend, twist at the waist,  climb, balance, stoop, squat,  kneel, crawl, talk, hear, see, use fine finger manipulation, and complete repetitive motions. 
-Some tasks may require the use of ladders or stairs
-Some tasks may require driving or the use of foot controls
-Lift/carry and push/pull up to 50 pound
