This role is completely volunteer and hybrid in Houston, Texas.
Overview: The Program Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the planning, execution, and evaluation of CareerLAB. Working closely with the Head of Program and cross-functional team members, the Coordinator helps ensure smooth program operations, effective community engagement, and high-impact participant experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Support implementation of CareerLAB programming

  • Assist in developing and maintaining program timelines, task lists, and workflows

  • Coordinate logistics for virtual events, workshops, cohort gatherings, and meetings

  • Track program deliverables and meet key milestones

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for program participants responding to questions and offering support

  • Help build a warm, inclusive and accessible experience for all participants

  • Manage participant communication and gather feedback to improve engagement

  • Assist and collaborate with Head of Program for outreach, interviewing, onboarding, and orientation process for participants, mentors and facilitators

  • Maintain accurate documentation for program tracking

  • Collaborate with Head of Program and support evaluation by collecting, organizing and summarizing data and participant feedback

  • Ensure new participants feel welcomed and prepared to engage in our programs and directory.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in non profit, education, organizing, or community programming

  • Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail

  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, Slack and Canva
