In this role, you will:
Delivery Planning and Execution
- Drive execution of committed initiatives by ensuring delivery plans, milestones, and outcomes are clearly defined and actively managed.
- Reinforce execution discipline across teams to support predictable delivery outcomes.
- Ensure delivery commitments are realistic and aligned to agreed timelines.
Sequencing, Dependencies, and Milestones
- Own sequencing and coordination of work across teams to align delivery timing and expectations.
- Identify and actively manage dependencies, including cross team and third-party dependencies.
- Ensure milestone dates are accurate, achievable, and consistently tracked in Jira.
Risk and Issue Management
- Proactively identify delivery risks and issues and work with stakeholders to define mitigation plans.
- Escalate delivery risks early with clear impact and recommended actions.
- Ensure issues are documented, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner.
Delivery Transparency and Data Quality
- Ensure delivery plans, milestones, risks, and status are accurately maintained in Jira and related delivery tools.
- Maintain high data quality so leadership can rely on reporting for decision making.
- Reinforce a single, trusted view of delivery health and execution progress.
Governance and Readiness
- Support delivery readiness for key milestones such as testing, release, and go live.
- Ensure delivery activities align with required governance, change, and control expectations.
- Support timely completion of remediation activities and validations where required.
Stakeholder Partnership and Communication
- Act as a delivery partner to Product, Technology, Risk, Operations, and leadership teams.
- Communicate delivery status clearly and concisely, especially when outcomes are at risk.
- Provide fact-based delivery insights and forward-looking visibility to support leadership decisions.
Continuous Improvement and Delivery Maturity
- Reinforce standard delivery routines and execution practices.
- Identify opportunities to improve execution effectiveness, efficiency, and predictability.
- Contribute to a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Project Management and Methodologies, Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2+ years of Leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
- 4 plus years of experience leading delivery of complex, cross functional initiatives or programs end to end
- Demonstrated experience operating as a senior delivery leader responsible for execution discipline and delivery outcomes
- Strong experience working in Agile delivery environments using Agile methodologies
- Hands on experience using Jira for delivery planning, tracking, and reporting and escalations
- Proven ability to manage dependencies, risks, milestones, and delivery tradeoffs across multiple teams
- Experience partnering closely with Product and Technology leaders
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Ability to lead through credibility, judgment, and influence without direct authority
- Experience delivering initiatives in financial services, payments, lending, or regulated industries
- Familiarity with credit card or personal lending platforms and environments
- Experience supporting large scale or multi team initiatives
- Experience working in regulated or high control environments
- Agile certification such as SAFe, Scrum Master, or equivalent
- Demonstrated people leadership or mentorship experience
