About the Role: 


The Global Digital Experience team at Uber plays a crucial role in ensuring the development and rollout of products that drive the business forward. As a Program Lead, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Operations, Product, and Marketing to identify new business opportunities, prioritize product initiatives, and build and deploy cutting-edge tools to improve the quality of support products for Uber Eats Merchants

 

Improving B2B Experience is a key focus area for Uber, and we are looking for a self-starter who can lead technical scoping and Go-to-market initiatives for exciting products that will be used by business customers (Merchants) and internal Support teams. 

 

The successful candidate will have strong technical and business acumen, be organized and able to quickly build strong partnerships across the business to drive rapid deployment and adoption of transformative tech


What You’ll Do:

 

  • Product planning: Work with regional product champions to gather insights for new product & feature intake. Knowledge of product development cycles.
  • Product rollout operationalisation: Work with several cross-functional teams to rollout a product or feature. Key areas of focus include but not limited to: testing, experimentation planning, communication, compliance tracking & collecting feedback
  • Execution tracking: Play a key role in the maintenance and reporting of projects and deliverables on an ongoing basis by working with the stakeholders. Help with the monitoring of deliverables using dashboards and trackers. 
  • Data analysis & reporting: Create and deliver metric reporting in the agreed format while gathering insights from the stakeholders. 
  • Documentation: Take ownership of creating and maintaining SOPs and other resources crucial for the operations. This would include PRDs, BRDs, Guidebooks and more. 
  • Communication: Proactive coordination & communication of product rollouts with large audiences across Product teams and CommOps, including preparing presentation materials, and marketing events across communication channels
  • Optimize Processes: Identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement in product operations, and implement practical solutions to increase productivity and efficiency.
  • Support Product Teams: Work hand-in-hand with product managers (Customer Obsession team) and other teams to ensure smooth execution of product launches, updates, and ongoing operations.

 

Required Qualifications: 

  •  7+ years of experience in product operations, project management, operations & rollouts, strategy, technology, or a related area.

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or MBA
  • AI fluency: Possess strong, practical AI-led automation skills. Ability to automate workflows using Claude/AI skills without Engineering support.
  • Product Planning and Rollout Operations: 5+ years in Product Operations or a similar role. Knowledge of building and scaling products for a large base of users. Deep understanding of how experimentation (XP), UAT, and usability studies work. 
  • Strong stakeholder management skills: Extending across global and in-market teams, as well as different organizations across Uber 
  • Attention to Detail: Experience working in a highly detail-oriented environment, demonstrating a high degree of diligence and accountability
  • Executive Presence & Alignment: Independently owns and structures quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and strategy narratives for Director+ stakeholders, delivering impact presentations to cross-functional audiences of 50+ stakeholders and peers
  • Multi-Project Execution: Concurrently manages 4 to 5 high-complexity, multi-quarter projects across multiple regions, consistently hitting critical delivery milestones within 10% of targeted deadlines
  • Data-Driven Dashboards: Autonomously writes complex SQL queries across massive multi-table databases to uncover user experience trends beyond macro averages, constructing and maintaining 2 to 3 automated executive dashboards 
Responsibilities

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $162,000 per year - USD $180,000 per year.


For Sunnyvale, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $162,000 per year - USD $180,000 per year.


For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
