In this position, you will participate in BAE Systems' nationwide LEAP Internship & Co-op Program, where you will Learn, Engage, Apply, and Progress within the company. The LEAP Program will provide you with the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals on impactful projects, engage in career development opportunities, and network with our business leaders and the other students in the program.
This is a spring/summer position. Internships may be shortened or extended at the discretion of the company. In this position you will be supporting the Combat Mission Systems Business at our Sterling Heights facility. This position is expected to be onsite in Sterling Heights, MI. Relocation, will not be offered. Housing is not provided.
As a Program Management Intern, you will:

• Assisting with organizing, planning, developing and completing projects and programs to specified performance goals
• Assisting with the tracking of progress to financial, schedule, technical and/or new business performance objectives
• Supporting proposal, market research, and new business development activities
• Performs other duties as assigned or required

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Pursuing a Business or Engineering Degree or related field of study
• Must be a US Person due to the nature of our business
• Requires good written and verbal communication skills Familiarity with the Microsoft suite of office products (Word, Excel, Outlook (e-mail), PowerPoint, etc.)
• Good problem solving skills and well organized Skilled at preparing briefings in PowerPoint and using Excel to analyze data related to business and operations
• Comfortable in front of a group and able to explain data and information

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $40335 - $54497
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
Temporary employees generally are not eligible for BAE Systems benefits, but can elect to participate in the 401(k) savings plan. Temporary employees working 20+ hours per week are eligible for medical benefits, the employee assistance program, and business travel accident insurance.
