Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated Program Manager that is a self-starter and is passionate about leading and partnering with cross-functional teams. The Program Manager will ensure the execution of the Monarch Bronchoscopy program, develop and manage project timelines, lead meetings, set and drive quarterly goals, and identify and mitigate program risks.

This position must be located in Santa Clara, CA.
 

Responsibilities:
 

• Own and drive the progress of Monarch Bronchoscopy product development programs

• Organize regular team meetings to drive progress, track and mitigate risks, resolve/escalate issues, and review action items

• Actively plan and drive cross-functional project teams to deliver against integrated, detailed plans within budget and timelines

• Enable proactive communications with directors and managers, ensuring integration of projects, and achievement of program milestones

• Proactively identify program and technical risks, generate mitigation plans, and facilitate the closure of risks

• Build team ownership and dedication to projects and business plans

• Prepare regular updates for J&J Robotics & Digital Solutions management team on progress of assigned projects.

• Allocate tasks among project specific team members and lead team to complete objectives.

• Coordinate and drive efforts with external vendors, including co-development and subcontracted development if required.
 

Experience and key competencies:
 

Required:

• BS/BA in Engineering or related technical field

• 7+ years of experience in a regulated environment

• 3+ years of experience in program or project management

• Experience working on complex systems or in complex dynamic teams

• Experience with using and/or administering project management software

• Work independently and be self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and drive for results

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Comfortable and adaptable in presenting to different audiences and levels of the organization

• Ability to travel up to 10%, international and domestic
 

Preferred:

• MS or PhD in Engineering, Science, or Business

• Experience leading early-stage development teams

• Exposure to business case development and user requirement identification

• Experience with Medical Device Design Control, QSR 21 CFR Part 820, Medical Devices and Regulatory strategies for FDA and 510k along with CE Mark

• Experience as an individual contributor in an engineering role within medical device design and development

• PMP Certification

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$118,000.00 - $203,550.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days
Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year
Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
