About Faire

Faire is a technology wholesale platform built on the belief that the future is local. Independent retailers around the globe collectively represent a multi-hundred-billion-dollar wholesale market that has historically been fragmented and offline. At Faire, we're using the power of tech, data, and machine learning to connect this thriving community of entrepreneurs across the globe. Picture your favorite boutique in town — we help them discover the best products from around the world to sell in their stores. With the right tools and insights, we believe that we can level the playing field so businesses can grow and local communities can thrive.

We’re looking for smart, resourceful and passionate people to join us as we power the shop local movement. If you believe in community, come join ours.

About this role

The Program Manager will be a critical partner to Faire’s Revenue organization, driving the effectiveness of our processes, systems, and cross-functional execution. This role works closely with Retailer Sales leaders, Strategy & Analytics, Revenue Systems, and Enablement to ensure we are prioritizing the highest value customers and enabling our teams to execute seamlessly.

As a program manager, you will:

  • Translate business needs into clear requirements for Revenue Systems and other partners to execute against.
  • Partner with Revenue Management to prioritize initiatives, with S&A to scope strategies, and with Enablement to drive consistent communication and adoption.
  • Ensure individual contributors across Revenue have the tools, workflows, and support needed to operate efficiently and effectively.
  • Build quarterly initiative roadmaps with long-term goals in mind

What you’ll do

Program Strategy

  • Provide Global Program Management Support for the Retailer Sales Functions at Faire

Ex: Evaluate and drive towards impact by measuring adoption and conversion improvements associated with related programs and projects

Systems & Processes

  • Drive the Mid Market Top of Funnel strategy: supporting the Book Build infrastructure and processes, centralizing the email & call strategy, partnering with Data science on scoring and scraping projects
    • Ex: creating enrichment workflows, optimizing systems and processes for different parts of the sales funnel based on team need
  • Identify future process improvements and inefficiencies in both the systems and workflows to help reps more effectively do their jobs (i.e. are hands on with the customers, shadowing calls and workflows, are curious and have a bias for action)

Examples: Run and interpret end of year timestudy, improve and maintain the Salesforce Homebase hub, create feedback loops, managing change

  • Are a systems and process expert: Salesforce, Salesloft, Orum, Gong and understand how these tools can be best utilized by the team, continuing to improve upon them

Ex: test and drive adoption of the Unify outreach tool

Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Prioritize and partner with Systems, S&A, Enablement, and Managers on the Quarterly initiative roadmap ensuring that all deliverables are met, key risks and dependencies are flagged, and communication is clear throughout the quarter

Ex: Drive planning brainstorming sessions, cross-functional alignment, rep testing groups

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of relevant experience project or program management or working on a success/sales team
  • You’re a strategic architect and have a product management mindset – you are able to think broadly about long-term solutions to problems that improve the experience for all teams
  • You’re a cross-functional guru – you can communicate with teams across the organization (Sales, Success, S&A, Enablement, etc.) to understand stakeholder needs and translate them into solutions and are growing into communication with external stakeholders (Product, Marketing, Engineering, or Data Science)
  • You’re a clear communicator — you are effective at making the complex simple - and in specific technical detail when needed to ensure we build through the detail
  • You’re passionate about serving our community - you believe in Faire’s mission to help local retailers and independent brands succeed
  • You’re relentlessly resourceful - Won’t quit on a problem because the solution is not obvious
  • You’re kind – you lead with kindness amongst your team and partners, always assuming good intent with those you engage with.
  • You’re able to project manage and prioritize resources to execute against a deliverable, and you are able to assign work effectively to partners and follow through to execution
  • You are able to influence and architect priorities across the team you are supporting
