About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented undergraduate student to join the Employee Briefing Center (EBC) team as a Program Operations Analyst Intern. This role is crucial in enhancing the efficiency, scalability, and reporting capabilities of the EBC program. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of business processes, a keen interest in automation, and a desire to improve operational excellence using technology.
Key Responsibilities
The intern will focus on two core areas: Operations Projects and EBC Tooling / Reporting.
1. Operations & Process Improvement (Approx. 60% of Time)
  • On-Site Logistics Lead: Coordinate end-to-end event logistics within our SF headquarters, partnering with Facilities, IT and Security teams to manage high-volume scheduling and resource allocation for the EBC. Drive operational excellence by maintaining a meticulously organized briefing center, ensuring all physical spaces and materials meet brand standards for global C-suite executives and key stakeholders.
  • Identify and Implement Automation Opportunities: Work closely with the EBC team to map existing manual processes (e.g., brief request intake, feedback collection, resource allocation) and identify opportunities for automation using existing tools or Cloudflare solutions (e.g., Workers, AI agents, workflow automation features, etc.).
  • Develop and Test Solutions: Design, build, and test basic automated workflows to streamline EBC operations, focusing on workload reduction, accuracy and user experience.
  • Process Documentation: Create clear, concise documentation and training materials for new automated processes and updated standard operating procedures (SOPs).
2. Tool Improvement and Reporting (Approx. 40% of Time)
  • EBC Management Tool Support: Assist in the daily operation and maintenance of the EBC management tool. This includes data integrity checks, user support, and configuration assistance.
  • Tool Improvement Lean-in: Gather user feedback from the EBC team on tool functionality and propose/assist with minor tool improvements or feature enhancements to increase user adoption and efficiency.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Develop, generate, and maintain regular operational reports and dashboards from the EBC management tool. This includes key metrics like briefing volume, customer satisfaction, resource utilization, and operational efficiency gains from automation.
  • Data Analysis: Conduct preliminary analysis on EBC data to identify trends, performance gaps, and areas for strategic operational improvement.

Qualifications
Required:
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate degree program.
  • Ability to commit to a minimum 12 week summer internship.
  • In office 3-5 days a week in San Francisco, CA.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a logical approach to process mapping.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (or Google Sheets) for data manipulation, analysis, and basic reporting (e.g., pivot tables, formulas).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to document technical processes clearly for a non-technical audience.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Gain
  • Hands-on Experience: Practical experience developing and deploying real-world automation solutions that directly impact a critical business function.
  • Professional Development: Mentorship from EBC and Operations leaders, exposure to executive-level strategic programs, and a deep understanding of B2B customer engagement strategy.
  • Tool Expertise: In-depth knowledge of EBC management tools and best practices for operational reporting and data governance.
