Work Arrangement

This position is onsite, full time. Occasional travel may be required. This position performs functions or is immediately available to perform functions that are considered safety sensitive for the purpose of maintenance or preventive maintenance as defined by 14 CFR 121. Therefore, employment and continued employment with the company is conditioned upon full compliance with the company’s Antidrug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Program as required by 14 CFR Part 120, 135, 145 and 49 CFR Part 40.

Job Overview

The Program Scheduler develops and maintains the integrated master schedules in support of program management, demand planning, and capacity resource analysis for all facility product lines. Synchronizing inputs from growth, program management, engineering, supply chain, and operations to ensure alignment with contractual commitment and delivery milestones.

Essential Functions

  • Works with the Program Manager to lead the preparation, development and coordination of resource-loaded integrated master plans and schedules for highly complex projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Oversee the tracking and maintenance of project plans and schedules to ensure alignment on demand, supply, capacity, and execution priorities across functions and programs.
  • Coordinate new project introduction and engineering change activity into the schedule, managing effectivity dates and plans.
  • Monitor adherence to the master schedule, track key metrics such as program milestones, ontime start/completions, schedule attainment, past-due risks and lead time performance.
  • Drive corrective actions with program team, operations, and supply chain.
  • Partner with supply chain to ensure long-lead and regulated components (ITAR, export-controlled, electronics, and composites) are planned and procured in line with lead times and demand.
  • Partner with material planning to maintain planning data integrity in the ERP/MRP system (BOMs, routing-based lead times, work centers, and planning parameters) to ensure accurate signals and realistic schedules.
  • Provide regularly scheduled status and risk updates to program management and leadership teams regarding, supporting bids, proposals, and capacity planning for the aircraft modification group.
  • Participate in pursuit strategy and development of compliant estimates and proposal artifacts,
  • Support internal and customer audits related to planning and scheduling requirements typical in defense aerospace environments.
  • Support risk and opportunity (R&O) plans and processes so that potential schedule and resource impacts are managed properly.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., InFor, SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced project management tools such as Microsoft Project or similar scheduling tools
  • Ability to interpret technical requirements, engineering documentation, BOMs, and configuration changes and translate them into executable schedules.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills to influence operations, engineering, supply chain, growth, and programs team.
  • Knowledge and experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and systems.
  • Proficient in schedule performance and program health metrics analysis
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment

Education / Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree targeting Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

  • 3+ years in planning/scheduling or finance
  • Aerospace or defense experience preferred.
  • Strong production planning and scheduling experience in a complex, production and engineering to- order low-to-medium volume manufacturing environment, ideally aerospace or defense.

The Company provides a reasonable range of compensation. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific location. The range of starting pay for this position is for the listed location only. 

Salary Range
$89,100$98,100 USD
