Your Role
The Project Implementation Manager III serves as the primary project lead and client liaison for PSC Software implementations. This role owns assigned projects from pre-project planning through configuration, validation, go-live, and post-go-live transition. The successful candidate brings strong project controls, clear client communication, sound judgment, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional specialists while protecting scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction.
This is a full-time, W2 temporary contract (12-18 months) remote role with potential FTE extension. Candidates must be based on the East Coast of the United States. However, travelling to client sites as needed is expected.
- Lead assigned client implementations from Business Development handoff through kickoff, requirements confirmation, planning, configuration, validation, training, go-live, closeout, and transition to ongoing support.
- Serve as the primary client contact, establish clear expectations, provide timely status updates and meeting documentation, and maintain a professional, solutions-oriented client experience.
- Build and maintain project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, and action items across multiple concurrent project streams.
- Coordinate implementation engineers, configuration specialists, validation specialists, Account Management, Business Development, Technical Support, Accounting, and other internal stakeholders.
- Gather and maintain client requirements; support scoping and estimation; confirm appropriate internal review and client approval before work proceeds.
- Monitor scope, schedule, budget, resource needs, project health, and deliverable completion. Escalate risks early with practical corrective and preventive options.
- Ensure work aligns with the signed Statement of Work, applicable client commitments, internal procedures, and Service Level Agreement requirements.
- Coordinate the preparation, review, approval, and delivery of required implementation and validation documentation, including plans, specifications, test results, and summary reports, when included in scope.
- Facilitate workflow configuration, configuration freeze, change control, production setup, release readiness, and project closeout activities.
- Review project time records and applicable invoices for accuracy; communicate budget status and support change-order or work-stoppage decisions when scope or funding requires action.
- Conduct system administration training and product demonstrations for new and existing clients; contribute to training materials and videos.
- Maintain strong working knowledge of PSC Software products, implementation methods, and the regulated life sciences environment.
- Coordinate upgrades, answer client questions, and manage the transition from implementation to post-go-live support and Account Management.
- Use internal project, customer, and support systems accurately and consistently, including ACE, Wrike, JIRA, and Freshdesk.
- Champion client needs while balancing contractual scope, quality expectations, delivery constraints, and PSC business requirements.
- Travel as needed and perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, business, life sciences, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- At least five years of experience in SaaS implementation, client services, customer support, project management, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated experience leading multiple concurrent client projects with responsibility for scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, and stakeholder communication.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience leading client meetings and delivering training or presentations.
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, prioritization, and follow-through.
- Ability to coordinate and delegate work across cross-functional teams without direct supervisory authority.
- Ability to learn complex software quickly and explain system functionality to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work productively with clients and colleagues across multiple time zones and consistently work the schedule assigned to the selected opening.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, CAPM, or comparable project management certification.
- Three or more years of experience with enterprise SaaS, IaaS, or PaaS solutions in the life sciences sector.
- Experience supporting regulated GxP environments and software implementation or validation deliverables.
- Knowledge of enterprise software configuration, requirements management, validation, change control, and release or upgrade processes.
- Experience with project management, ticketing, and collaboration platforms such as Wrike, JIRA, Freshdesk, or similar tools.

Adhering to laws on pay transparency, the hourly range for this role is set between $35 - $40 USD. The pay offered may be adjusted based on various factors such as the applicant's qualifications, skills, and professional experience.
