Overview 

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage time-sensitive, cross-department project initiatives for an IMO (Integration Management Office) within a telecommunications/broadband organization. The Project Manager will support all aspects of the operational gateway including the following: project documentation, communications, customer care, records management, reporting, process improvements, and operational workflows. This is a full time 3-month + (may be extended) consulting engagement on a 1099 working EST hours. This position is remote but EST candidates will be prioritized. All qualified candidates must live in the United States and be fully authorized to work without requiring visa sponsorship or visa transfer.


Responsibilities 

 ·       Daily program/project management throughout the program life cycle

·       Manage cross-functional resources, ensuring on-time delivery, meeting budgetary demands, and achievement of business goals

·       Work with management to review, optimize and document effective solutions

·       Proficient with Smartsheet and SharePoint tools to provide tracking, updates and advanced reporting

·       Liaison between cross functional teams such as product development, IT, engineering, operations, data teams, etc.

·       Build program documentation such as Program Charter, Risk Log, Trackability Matrix, Status Reports, Project Plans, Budget/Forecast or KPI Dashboard

·       Integrate business policies and governance processes into project planning

·       Manage risks and issues and taking corrective measurements

·       Identify, track and report program KPIs to assess impact

·       Coordinate, manage and monitor workflow of the cross-functional teams

·       Facilitate and lead project meetings and discussions with stakeholders at all levels 


Requirements

Candidates must have experience in project or program management, process optimization, and executive level communication gained through managing large projects including the following:

·       Minimum of 5 years project and/or program management expertise within the telecommunications, broadband, cable industry

·       Strong practical experience building project documentation, KPIs, and analyzing processes to identify areas of optimization and improvement

·       Experience in the one or more of the following areas is necessary: integrations, migrations, operations or process optimization

·       Industry experience either in telecommunications, broadband, fiber or cable industry is required

·       Direct hands-on experience with Smartsheet, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office Suite PowerPoint are required

·       Proven knowledge of Scrum, Agile & Product Development is necessary

·       Ability to collaborate successfully with a wide range of cross functional stakeholders

·       Strong leadership and management skills, coupled with ability to individually contribute and deliver on all role expectations

·       Ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems and communicate ideas effectively

·       Ability to process information quickly and present it in a succinct and insightful format for various stakeholders including executives


Education & Certifications

·       Bachelor’s degree required preferably in Business, Communications, Engineering or Computer Science

·       PMP certification is preferred

Compensation

Sand Cherry Associates is required by Colorado law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range considers a wide range of factors considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. This is a short-term consulting engagement with an expected hourly rate of $85-90/hour. Years of experience, level of education, geographic location, unique skills/qualifications for the specific role and potential certifications can be key factors in the final compensation for this role.
