Project Manager

As a Project Manager at Pivotal, you will be responsible for overseeing and steering complex projects across our expanding operations in manufacturing, research, development, and product implementation. This role involves high-level planning, strategic management, and leadership to ensure projects meet organizational goals and are completed with exceptional accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

Direct and manage the overall execution of assigned projects, ensuring they align with organizational objectives and are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standards of quality.

Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including defining tasks, allocating resources, and setting milestones. Delegate tasks effectively to project teams.

Budget Management: Oversee cost analysis and budget preparation. Ensure projects are executed within budgetary constraints and make adjustments as needed to address any financial discrepancies.

Risk Management: Conduct thorough risk assessments, identify potential risks, and develop strategies for mitigation. Report significant risks and issues to senior management, providing recommendations for corrective actions or project adjustments.

Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between the organization, clients, and vendors. Address and resolve any questions, concerns, or issues that arise throughout the project lifecycle.

Operational Excellence: Continuously monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards. Implement best practices to improve project outcomes and efficiency.

Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as required to support the organization's growth and project success.


Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to influence and negotiate.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, demonstrating the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Superior organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent time management skills with a track record of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to proactively address and resolve complex issues.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
  • Comprehensive understanding of project management principles or a quick aptitude to learn about the specific projects and products being developed.
  • Ability to remain adaptable and effective in a dynamic, high-pressure setting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related project management software.

Experience:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in a senior project management role is required. •
  • PMP, CAPM, PgMP, or other relevant project management certifications are highly desirable.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field is required.
